A thoroughly accessible and informative guide to the inner workings of the hospital. Many may fear the hospital but author Nwora depicts it as a lively, busy institution full of helpful staff and interesting patient stories. She goes beyond describing doctors and nurses; readers learn about physical therapists, cafeteria staff, cleaning staff, radiologists and more. Readers will pore over the illustrations and definitions and by the end will have a greater appreciation if not fascination for what a hospital is and does.
