Abronia - A colorful lizard that lives in trees and can be found mostly in Central America.
Did You Know? Abronia lizards are sometimes called Mexican Alligator Lizards
because of their scales that look like alligator skin!
Acanthophis - This is a venomous snake known as the death adder. They are found in Australia and has a stout body with a short tail.
Did You Know? The death adder has one of the quickest strikes of any snake in the world!
Acontias - These are legless lizards from Africa. They might look like snakes, but they are truly lizards!
Did You Know? Even though they don't have legs, they still have tiny leftover hip bones inside!
Acrantophis - A type of boa snake found on some islands in the Indian Ocean.
Did You Know? These snakes are very rare and are not often seen by people.
Acrochordidae - Also known as file snakes, they have loose, rough skin and live in water.
