Dedication
To my husband Victor , our daughter Felicia and my sisters Crystal and Christine. You’re the ones that told me I got this. And it’s thanks to all of you that I do. This book would not have been possible without you.
Introduction
Thank you for downloading this eBook. This is a collection of my very first stories, written as coursework for a creative writing degree. Most of these stories are based on specific course guidelines and prompts. I hope you enjoy them all. So, without further ado I welcome you to the world of Hidden Darkness where the unseen is seen and the impossible is possible.
Into the Unknown
In my search to find the truth behind my dreams and proof of demonic existence, I find myself in a cave somewhere in the Aokigahara Forest miles from civilization. My mouth drops in awe as I take in a sky the color of fresh blood and a sun so black that it has the appearance of a blackhole.
Once I catch my bearings, I smile at my discovery. I’m so fascinated by my surroundings that I end up taking in a deep breath of the surrounding scents. It turns out that it was a huge mistake. One that will stick for lifetimes to come. The air wraps its fingers around my throat and squeezes the breath from my lungs. The scent is so foul that I place my head between my legs and try not to
