      ‘Brave Knights Wanted!

      Are you the bravest knight in all Dragonsholme?

      We need your help!

      Dragon slayers needed!

      Quickly!’

      That’s what the sign in the Olde Sweet Shoppe window said.

      Dragon slayers...was Prince Reid a dragon slayer? Could he defeat Red Eye the Dragon, or was he just a little prince like everyone said?

      There’s only one way to find out, Prince Reid said to himself.

      And so, he ran home, bounced up the stairs, got dressed in his best armour, and went to see the king.

      When the king heard Prince Reid say that he was going to slay the dragon, he laughed so loud that his crown fell off his head and rolled right down to Reid’s feet.
