is the first in what will be a series of stories about an elephant who would like to attend children’s tea parties but can’t because of his size.
This story teaches that everyone is special even though they may be different from others. It also demonstrates how perceived weaknesses can be strengths.
H2.jpgOnce upon a time, there was a small town named Littleton.
Near the town of Littleton, there was a small country road where a baby elephant lived with his parents.
The baby elephant’s name was Horatio.
Horatio was gray in color and he had big blue eyes. He wore a blue shirt and brown pants.
Every day Horatio would visit the children in the small town of Littleton because he had one wish.
H3.jpgThat wish was to be invited to one of the children’s tea parties so that he could eat crumpets and drink tea and make friends.
But the children who lived in the small town of Littleton did not want Horatio to attend tea parties because he had one problem.
The problem was that even though Horatio was a baby elephant, he was very, very big.
