I relate it to the “Tent of Meeting” in Exodus where the Israelites met daily with God during the journey from Egypt. This is my personal daily journey with Jesus.

Thank you to my longtime friend, Felecia Butler, for many memories and playing a role in the story of my life. She has worked endlessly on helping me to edit this book. She has also inspired me to be the best I could be by living above and not beneath. She reminds me that I am a leader and not a follower. Also, that I am the head and not the tail. PREFACE

The Tent of Meeting references in Scripture was the Dwelling Place of Yahweh. Yahweh is a Hebrew name of God. Exodus 33:7-10 refers to the tabernacle of the congregation or the tent of meeting, which was set up outside of camp with the cloudy pillar visible at its door. The pillars are said to have guided the Israelites through the desert during the Exodus from Egypt. The pillar of cloud provided a visible guide for the Israelites during the day, while the pillar of fire lit their way by night.

The people directed their worship toward this center. It was the portable earthly dwelling place of God used by the Israelites.

It was considered to be the divine interaction where Israel plead their needs before the Lord. It was a visual representation of the availability of God through Israel’s journey to the Promised Land. Exodus 33: 3,9, 10, 11; Exodus 25:8-9; Exodus 35:10-11; Exodus 39:32-43; Exodus 40:1-2,

Personally, I relate this to my time devoted to the Lord daily through my devotions, prayer and time spent with Him. It is divine interaction with my Daddy God. Hebrews 10:24-25

Also, I think of a prayer shawl as a tent of meeting. It is a garment one can wear to create a sense of personal space during prayer. This can enhance my intention and direction of my prayers. Numbers. 15:37-41

Of course, neither of these are necessary to meet with God. His presence is all that is needed. But I wanted to enlighten You to how I came to the title of this devotional book as well as why Prayer Shawl are on every page.

In Daily Tent of Meeting with Jesus you will find each day the following:

• Words taken from my personal daily journey with Jesus

• H What I believe He is speaking to me on that day

• Sometimes, there is another cry out from me to Him

TWO PSALMS AND A PRAYER

THAT I PRAY EVERY DAY

Psalm 80:1-7

Hear us, Shepherd of Israel,

you who lead Joseph like a flock, (lead us and the leaders of our nation)

You who sit enthroned between the cherubim,

shine forth ² before (the people of this land) Ephraim, Benjamin and Manasseh.

Awaken Your might; (May the darkness and gloom vanish)

come and save us.

³ Restore us, O God; (Stir up strength in us)

make your face shine on us,

that we may be saved. (Save America)

⁴ How long, LORD God Almighty,

will your anger smolder (Be mighty oh God, on behalf of Your people)

against the prayers of your people?

⁵ You (we) have (been) fed with the bread of tears; (the world’s bread is the bread of tears, evil, sin, lies and stealing. We spit out this bread and eat of Your Bread Lord – Your Body - that tore down the veil and gave us complete access to You Daddy God. We have everything we need for we have access to You)

you (the world) have made them drink tears by the bowlful.

⁶ You have made us an object of derision to our neighbors,

and our enemies mock us.

⁷ Restore us, God Almighty;

make your face shine on us, (America)

that we may be saved.

Psalm 91:1-16

¹ Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High

will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.

² I will say of the LORD, "He is my refuge and my fortress,

my God, in whom I trust."

³ Surely, he will save you (I am safe)

from the fowler’s snare

and from the deadly pestilence. (I am Safe)

⁴ He will cover you (me) with his feathers,

and under his wings you (I) will find refuge;

his faithfulness will be your (My) shield and rampart.

⁵ You (I) will not fear the terror of night,

nor the arrow that flies by day,

⁶ nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness,

nor the plague that destroys at midday.

⁷ A thousand may fall at your (My) side,

ten thousand at your (My) right hand, (my family)

but it will not come near you (me). (Thank You Jesus)

⁸ You will only observe with your eyes

and see the punishment of the wicked.

⁹ If you say, The LORD is my refuge,

and you (I) make the Most High your dwelling, (I do)

¹⁰ no harm (None) will overtake you (me),

no disaster will come near your tent (my home or my family)

¹¹ For he will command his angels concerning you

to guard you in all your ways; (Angels are ordered to guard me)

¹² they will lift you up in their hands,

so that you will not strike your (my) foot against a stone. (I will not fall, I will not even stumble)

¹³ You will tread on the lion and the cobra;

you will trample the great lion and the serpent (under my feet).

¹⁴ Because he loves me, says the LORD, "I will rescue her/him;

I will protect her/him, for (she) acknowledges my name.

¹⁵ She/he will call on me, and I will answer her/him;

I will be with her/him in trouble,

I will deliver her/him and honor him.

¹⁶ With long life I will satisfy her/him (with a healthy and prosperous life)

and show him (her) my salvation."

(Bold is my prayer as an addition to the Psalms)

An added daily prayer for my America’s leaders

May the wicked and evil be exposed (Prov. 2:22) and cut off from this land. I declare judgement (Psalm 101:8) against this evil as well as all the things that was meant to destroy mankind. May the Haman’s in this world be hanged on the gallows that they made for us. Replace them with Mordecai’s.

However, Lord, I pray for their soul that before they meet you face to face that they have a Road to Damascus experience and repent, for I know it is not Your will that any should perish.

I declare seriousness to take hold of me and all believers in prayer. I stand on behalf of America. Release wisdom to direct them to direct this nation. May all this turmoil work to put God’s person back in power again. What the enemy meant for evil, You, oh God have turned around for good. Lead them like you did Joseph in restoring and making America great again. May they be enthroned in Your presence forever. Appoint Your love and faithfulness to protect him. In Jesus’s Name.

DEDICATION

First and foremost, I dedicate this book to My Jesus, who is Lord, Savior and Friend. Because of Him, I have a relationship; with my Daddy God Most High and Holy Spirit who guides me every second of every day. I cherish my daily communion with all three, the very essentials in my daily walk of life.

Secondly, I dedicate this book to my heart, the greatest joy in my life, my son, Michael Scott Ange. He has stood by my side all of his life. He has honored me even when I didn’t deserve honor. He has loved me unconditionally and has been my strength and encouragement. He has supported me in everything I ever attempted to do. I am highly honored to call myself your Mom. I am purified by faith in Jesus Christ. You are everything I need. You are my only Savior and You are enough!! You are sufficient. Give me the grace of obedience to crucify my own flesh and will. I want to see Your victory in my life. I want to be still so I may hear from You. I seek Your presence above all else and I experience Your peace and joy in full measure. While I journey through life in Your presence, Your glory brightens the world around me. I have every reason to praise You.

Take some time and talk with Jesus before you enter the new year. Ask Him to give you the clarity you need to move forward in Daddy God’s will. He will do His part. Prepare your heart for the next season and determine to press in. Help us all Lord to delight ourselves in You. We will be glad we did.

JANUARY 2

Therefore, strengthen your feeble arms and weak knees.

"Make level paths for your feet," so that the lame may

not be disabled, but rather healed. Hebrews 12:12-13

Oh God, please don’t take Your eyes or Your hand off of America. We have gone through fire and water – now bring us to a place of abundance, Oh Lord. We want to hear You to get Your wisdom and direction as one who is learned and speaks with a learned tongue. May Your arm bring justice to the nations. We rejoice in You, oh Lord. May we display the gifts of the Spirit without limitations. We depend on You Lord in childlike trust to get us through this day and Your joy and Your peace will be our companion on our journey. Help us to recognize the fruit of our fellowship with You Lord, that motivates us.

The very thought of you puts a smile on His face because He knows that the plans He has for you are plans to bless you (Jeremiah 29:11).

JANUARY 3

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word

was with God, and the Word was God. He was

with God in the beginning. 1 John 1:1-2

My Lord goes before me. He will be my rear guard as well. Be highly exalted as You were raised and lifted up on my behalf. May I never boast but in the cross of my Lord Jesus. Give me an ongoing grace of forgiveness so I can maintain my intimacy with You. Thank You Lord that everything I need is already within me. I have access to You and that is everything I need. The Holy Spirit in me is my seal that is a deposit guaranteeing my inheritance. I belong to You. I am Your possession. I choose to let You Lord live through me, strengthen my spirit to rise up to You – the one who sacrificed it all for me.

Just as we’ve seen in the past, God sees our sins in the past & remembers them no more. Every sin was punished to the full in the Body of Jesus on the cross. Don’t be sin conscious - be CROSS Conscious.

Through him all things were made; without him nothing

May God arise. May His enemies be scattered. May His foes flee before Him. Summon Your power oh God and show me Your strategy as You have done before. I want to see miracles in my midst. I will rest and see You work. I expect You to move on my behalf. Help me build up my most holy faith. Root out any unbelief in my soul. I approach You Daddy God with freedom and confidence. Strengthen me with Your power and dwell in my heart. I want to be rooted and established in love and see Your power manifested in my life and in the life of others.

Grace operating in my life always operates in the present tense! I AM both with you and within you. It is not a guessing game for I AM. Show me what you want me to see to stay in balance with Your Word. Increase my discerning ability.

JANUARY 5

Philip found Nathanael and told him, we have found the one

Moses wrote about in the Law, and about whom the prophets

also wrote—Jesus of Nazareth, the son of God. John 1:45

My heritage as a servant of the Lord is that no weapon formed against me will prosper or prevail and You will refute every tongue that accuses me. You are my ultimate goal. Show me the way of life for in Your presence is the fullness of joy. As You open the doors for me in this season of favor, help me walk through them with a determined heart. May my life become a praise song to You by proclaiming Your glorious presence in the world. Help me Lord to be as quick to forgive myself as You are to forgive me when I fail to walk in Your Word.

Get in the habit of journaling. Meditate on Deut. 17:18. Express your thoughts and concerns to Daddy God. Dream your dreams with Him and allow those dreams to soar. Take the limits off. Allow your eyes to see, your ears to hear and your heart to dwell on what He has prepared for you. Your best is yet to come! Believe!

Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth

peace to those on whom his favor rests. Luke 2:14

Put to shame and confusion all those who want to harm me. Your Word will not return empty but will accomplish what You desire and achieve the purpose for which it was sent. I ask You oh God of hope to fill me with joy and peace. Through the help of the Holy Spirit, I can overflow with hope into the lives of other people. I pray Lord for when I open my mouth, words will be given to me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the Gospel. Take my weaknesses and perform Your power and glory most brilliantly. May others see clearly Your miracles and live by faith and clearly see Your glory.

I’m guilty of saying the enemy is attacking me. I declare today he is under my feet - I am not under his feet; I am OVER them. I repent for not standing in my authority in Christ. Thank You Lord for reminding me of who I am in You.

JANUARY 7

Even when I am old and gray do not forsake me Oh God until I declare Your power to the next generation and Your might to all who are to come. Restore my life, increase my honor and comfort me once again. You, who began a good work in me will carry it on to completion. You, who sit on the throne, shine forth. You have blessed me beyond measure. You are my Star of guidance. You are the Light from on high that dawns upon me. You guide me into the way of peace. I give You the reins to my heart. Help me to stay focused on You.

Trust in the pathway to peace for there is no fear where trust exists. Trust Daddy God to lead you every step of the way into a broad place of blessing. Do not be discouraged with all that is happening today for I have a plan....

Show me Lord any place in my heart that I am holding back because of fear.

JANUARY 8

The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among

us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only

Son, who came from the Father, full of grace. John 1:14

You Lord are like rain falling on a fresh mown lawn, like showers watering the earth. The righteous will flourish; prosperity will abound till the moon is no more. Break every yoke and set the oppressed free. You satisfy my needs when in a sun scorched land for You are like a well-watered garden. Your waters never fail. Remind me that You are the Light in the darkness. Oh, how I love You. Lord Jesus, be with my spirit. I want to nurture well my trust in You as my Savior, Lord and Friend. Inspire the gifts in me to teach Your Word with power that brings results. Manifest my gifts for Your glory.

Don’t be faint hearted or afraid for the Lord your God goes with you to fight for you against your enemies to give you victory. Victory is on shouting ground. Raise a praise to Him this morning.

JANUARY 9

On coming to the house, they saw the child with his mother

Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him. ... Then they

opened their treasures and presented him. Matthew 2:11

My flesh and my heart will fail me but You oh God are the strength of my heart and my portion forever. You are my refuge. Your arm is not too short to reach me and You always hear me. Thank You for Your power and Your energy operating in me. I gain new strength daily from spending time with You. Dear Lord, make a public spectacle of those that are evil and disarm their power and authorities and triumph over them by the Cross. May Your peace reign in my heart. I am thankful Lord for Your presence. Thank You God for a Savior – my sweet powerful Jesus.

Sometimes we have to start over in an area of our lives. God started over with Noah. God made a covenant with me so when the enemy comes in like a flood, God will come against the enemy. For what was meant to harm me, HE meant it for my good. Anoint me Lord to walk in the new.

JANUARY 10

Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he

is the Messiah, the Lord. This will be a sign to you: You will

find a baby wrapped in swaddling clothes. Luke 2:11-12

May my mind be cleared of clutter as my heart ponders the wonders of Your entrance in human history. Glory to God in the highest and on earth peace among those with whom He is pleased. I gaze at the glory of Your birth, just as the shepherds wonder. I want to see Your power move through me to others. You, sweet Jesus became poor so I might become rich. I sing hallelujah to Your Holy Name. I will honor You with my lips and be Your witness in the earth. Empower me to reach others so that all will be drawn to You.

Speak words that inspire faith in your heart. This will conquer the giants in your life. His Word became flesh that gives wisdom and revelation. Hold on to His Word no matter what circumstances look like.

JANUARY 11

No one has ever seen God, but the one and only Son,

who is himself God and is in closest relationship with

the Father, has made him known. John 1:18

Cut off all the horns of the wicked and lift up the horns of the righteous. I want to be grounded in Your Word and encircled by You Jesus. I want my deeds to be good and prompted by You. Thank You for Your power and deep conviction with the Holy Spirit. I desire to be an imitator of You. Thank You Lord for delivering me from the wrath to come. Thank You for Your unfailing love. Hold me in Your everlasting arms. Thank You for gifting me with an unimaginably glorious life that will never end. I embrace this gift joyfully and gratefully.

Help me to recognize Your presence. Still my soul when my emotions try to take over. I desire to live my life on purpose and with purpose. God has ordered His angels to guard me in all my ways.

JANUARY 12

Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh

with its passions and desires. ... Since we live by the Spirit,

let us keep in step with the Spirit. Galatians 5:24-25

I see and know only in part what the Blood and Body does – has already done. Teach me all I need to know about what it has accomplished in my life and help me to teach that to others. Instead of shame on Your people, fear or control, bring forth the double portion and may they rejoice in their inheritance of land and everlasting joy be theirs. Prepare me for what is ahead. I can only do it in Your strength Lord. I depend on You and trust You in every situation. Release Your power on this earth through me everywhere I am. I want to be a part of what matters most to Your heart. Open now the hearts that are to
