This ebook volume is new work by writer Nick Armbrister and a follow up to book 1. Nick is best known for his anti war work as seen here (and also with writer Andy N), alternative poems and erotic short stories. As a writer and individual Nick has strong views on war matters and has worked on a number of books and pieces of writing/projects covering them.

Nick brings a uniquely English/British view to his work which is both varied in style and topic and goes well together.

This collection is meant to educate people on issues from World War 2 and encourage them to do further research on this interesting yet tragic time of human history. Let the lessons not be forgotten by our current generation and the world leaders and politicians. The innocent civilians and military service people suffer from your military adventures and quest for glory and empire. This is ongoing with the Putin’s catastrophic war in Ukraine. Other wars will soon follow.

It is simply ongoing

The war as you all call it

Continues and will never end

For those who control the world

And all of us are pulling the strings

To make more cash and power

From the war acts which don't stop

A new year a new war in a new place

Or an old place dusting off an old war

It's doesn't matter why who how when

What matters is power and a bit of cash

They lust for power have it all want more

Many will die nations will be wrecked

Weapons used in anger or for fun

You name it they'll use it and do it

Conflict is the normal for them

There is no profit in peace

Wanna 18

Age 18 all your life ahead of you

So young yet so confident

Of a future that will all be fine

And a life that will be great

Afghan boy wanted to play football

Ukraine gal wanted to cure cancer

War came calling stole their lives

Shattered their dreams

Wanna be 18 again?

Future History

In another seventy five years who will research the Ukraine battle sites?

What war will be raging with whom why how when?

Future battle historians digging up bones bullets

While unborn soldiers fight kill die wage war

One war now over one war to start

The circle continues little changes

Except death future history

Be Here?

Do you really wanna be here?

On this planet when your friends

Do what they do in foreign countries?

Aussie SAS men doing war crimes

One being jailed for it

Not as bad as Putin's Russians

Murdering Ukrainians but not good

Do you wanna be here on Earth?
