The satellite, with a smooth black luster on its hull, approached orbit.

Shining solar panel wings used perpetual motion to absorb the heat and solar power as it approached me. My consciousness drifted towards the device. A human woman designed this machine. I can feel the vibrations from her energy radiating off the hull. Magnificent. I felt this stimulation from her intellect as well as her soul. The energy became more familiar.

As the satellite made orbit, I reached out to Earth, in search of the human woman whose intellectual gifts proved to be vastly enhanced. This is not the first time I have sought a human worthy of my teachings. I also reached out to the ones known as Isaac Newton, Albert Einstein, and even ancient students of Cosmic Enlightenment such as Zeus, Urania, and Ares. Unfortunately, those beings had too much of their ego intertwined in their souls. They were not worthy nor even close to the sense of Earthly Enlightenment.

Once, a being called Siddhartha roamed the planet and he was the closest to ever reaching being worthy. Yet, he denied my invitation, feeling satisfied with where he was and how he felt the need to teach his students. I envied that dedication and faith to his brothers and sisters of planet Earth.

This woman, I sense, is of Japanese descent, trained in mathematics and astronomy, but she is also a teacher of meditation. I must find a student to pass on my teachings. Testing her spirit to see if she is worthy will most likely be my final opportunity. I could simply reach out to speak to her, but human instinct will diagnose it as psychosis. She needs to see me before I can speak to her, and this satellite is that key.

I know that it is time to train a new host for Cosmic Yarr. This young woman on Earth may be my last chance for the legacy to continue.

Kristina opened her eyes. Breathing in deeply, she focused on her apartment. The smell of incense entered her nose and a smile fell upon her face. She rose gracefully from the lotus position. Glancing at the clock on her wall, Kristina sighed.

Another three hours before the satellite reaches the destination, she whispered.

Kristina knew she had to get ready for work. She entered her bathroom and started the shower head. Undressing, while occasionally touching the water stream for the right temperature, Kristina’s thoughts drifted to her satellite probe orbiting the Sun. Something of this magnitude had never happened before. She was credited with recreating and discovering Hyperion, a lab created element that resisted and absorbed heat and energy.

    Kristina designed the
