Surah 21: Surat Al-Anbiyaa
(The Prophets)
21:1
Their calculation for their actions on the Day of Judgment has approached people, but they turn away with disdain from eternal life because of their preoccupation with worldly things.
21:2
Whenever new messages from the Qur'an came to them from their Lord, they listened to them playfully without benefit, having fun and attaching no importance to them, that is without caring about its contents.
21:3
They listened to it [the Qur'an], but their hearts remained heedless. Those who are wrongdoers with their unbelief hid the conversation they secretly had among themselves, and said: "Is not this one who claims to be a messenger, not a person like you, who is not different from you in any way?! What he came with is witchcraft (magic)! Will you really follow him, realizing that he is a person like you, and what he came to you with is witchcraft?!
21:4
The Messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: My Lord is aware of the conversation that you have among yourselves in secret. He knows about every word spoken in heaven and on earth, He hears the words of His servants, He knows about their deeds, and He will repay them for everything.
21:5
They doubted what Muhammad ﷺ came with, then they said: Incoherent dreams that have no interpretation
