    Mouthful of Spiders

BURST. BURST. BURST. On and on, the spider sacs were being vacated by their inhabitants.

Deep into the night, these noxious creatures huddled and fed on whatever they found. The Woodbridge area had a significant issue. Crates of exotic and native species of arachnids broke on their way to a wildlife study center. The container contained several species with various venomous genes at work that the center would have used to further research into finding treatments for spider bites and, quite possibly, cures for hematological disorders with the aid of gene therapies.

Over the years, Woodbridge held a secret that was too damaging to escape the lips of the current administration and head of the Public Works Department. The sewage management of the small town—housing nearly forty thousand souls—with plenty of money to spare skimped on the best practices promoted by the most conservative members of the EPA and Massachusetts Conservation League. Over the years, the filtration systems were not adding extra dilution additives to further the breakdown of untold dangerous chemicals from nearby businesses.
