What Simulation?

Suppose you are wondering what the title of this book means but were drawn to it because you saw the words self-help. Déjame explicarte. A simulation hypothesis proposes that our existence is a simulated reality, such as a computer simulation, like The Sims video game—binary code—zeros and ones. If that is true, the implications are fascinating, with endless possibilities.

This hypothesis poses the question: Does our conscious mind create our reality, or are we reacting to an existing one? Based on the double-slit experiment, I believe we construct our reality. Be patient; I know you're probably scratching your head, wondering, what the heck is a double-slit experiment?

In modern physics, the double-slit experiment demonstrates that light matter can display characteristics of both classically defined waves and particles. Moreover, it shows the fundamentally probabilistic nature of quantum mechanical phenomena, which means that photons behave as waves when not observed and as particles when they are.

Bear with me. This book will not be a long, dry science presentation—te lo prometo. Besides liberating energy and producing heat, chemical reactions within our body also emit small numbers of photons, elementary particles of light. How exciting! If we weave all this together, we realize that our subconscious mind is an observer changing us from wave to particle, thus creating our physical reality.

Do you understand? If you're still confused by science, research. Yo, no soy google. Nevertheless, if you are still reading this, you're probably interested, so I have a few more science facts I'd like to share. So let us carry on. DNA can store 215 petabytes (215 million gigabytes) of information in a single gram. Some spiritual teachers believe that we carry fourteen generations' worth of data or, instead, 350 years of generational trauma in our DNA—but hold that thought. We will explore this further in the level dedicated to Love.

Up to this point, you've spent your life believing that you are helplessly dependent on fate and destiny and that God designed your life. So, you have resigned yourself to accept whatever comes in hopes that this resignation will grant you entry into the pearly gates of heaven. But since what you believe creates a reality that may be true for you, permit me to offer an alternative.

You are infinite awareness, divine consciousness—God having a human experience. A light wave sees itself as a particle of matter. All-knowing, all-powerful, perfect, and whole with the ability to create and replicate. This knowledge should empower you to manifest the life of your dreams.
