I dedicate this book to my auntie Ethel Crump Dunson. I am ashamed that I allowed my political views to make me not honor someone who cared for me as a child, someone who helped to raise me to become a man. I have learned that the only truth in life is Gods' truth.

Introduction

Politics is defined as the way people living in groups make decisions. Politics involves people making agreements between themselves so that they can coexist in groups such as tribes, cities, work spaces, homes, communities, countries, etc. During my undergraduate studies at UNLV, a Political Science Professor once told me that Politics is everything. I concluded then in my mind, that if Politics is everything? Then, how can we not include God in everything? More importantly, how could the creator of all things NOT be involved in everything? The Bible says: 

For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. Colossians 1:16

In America when you see the words Politics & the Bible the first thought that comes to mind is that these are two separate entities. Two different subjects that encompass two different sets of ideals. The famous American quote of The Separation of Church and State comes to mind. Nevertheless, is it truly possible to separate from what you believe? I would argue that there is no such thing as The Separation of Church and State. Either your politics are your beliefs or your beliefs are your politics.
