      The N.F.L. added a fourth official, the Field Judge, to the umpiring crew. The top team in the standings was declared the N.F.L. champion. Tied games were not counted.

      The final standings are as follows:

      The team standings were by percentages won and not by games won.

      The Green Bay Packers 1929 roster is as follows:

      Players played both offense and defense. Many played various positions while on offense and defense. The positions shown above are probably what they played the most.

      The Packers scored 198 points and allowed only 22 points (lowest in the league)

      The N.F.L. added 2 new teams (The Daytona Triangles renamed the Brooklyn Dodgers and the Portsmouth Spartins (The future Detroit Lions.) 2 teams folded (Buffalo Braves and Boston Bull Dogs)

      The final standings are as follows:

      The Packers scored 234 points (2nd most in the league). They allowed 111 points (4th in the league.)

      The 1931 Green Bay Packers

      The 1930s Depression caused 3 teams to fold (The Minneapolis Red Jackets, The Newark Tornadoes and The Frankfort Yellow Jackets midway thru the season) The Cleveland Indians joined the league.

      The final standings are as follows:

      The Packers refused to play their last game against the Portsmouth Spartans. They wanted to stay in first place. This led to major changes in how games were scheduled.
