Is It Worth Falling in Love?

When you are born it is a blank book. We come into this world without premeditated ideas, we do not endorse a particular position, we have no religion, we do not belong to any political party. When it's time to go, that book has all its pages written on it.

In the book of our life the most interesting chapters, most of the time, have to do with our experiences in love. Love, exciting and stimulating, complex and challenging, always full of extraordinary moments and also confusion, passion and anxiety; but, above all, of many slips. Really sometimes there are so many love disappointments that we are left wondering if love is really worth it; And if we had the chance to travel back in time we would rewrite some pages of that book to act differently, and avoid some of those unhappy moments.

All of the above is a mistake, because when we give love, it is never wasted. In any case, it would be better to look back with gratitude for the possibility we were given to be able to love. It is a mistake to think that love is keeping track of us, and worrying about whether we win or lose, and even if a relationship ends in disappointment, love always gives life. We should never love with the expectation that our relationship will result in a Disney story-style ending, we should love with confidence that love is a gift always worth giving. If we love thinking that way, a sad ending will never have the strength to strip love of its value, because love is our investment in another human soul, no matter the outcome. Love is what we are called to give without expecting anything in return.

Unfortunately seeing so many marriages torn apart, dysfunctional relationships, and families spun off, it's inevitable to think that loving isn't worth it. If your doubts come from all that social chaos, they are reasonable. However, the countless souls in love, and centuries of art, poetry, and other forms of love-based exposition that precede you cannot be ignored, and although romantic love is occasionally exaggerated, that does not invalidate its worth.

If you feel skeptical about love, reason that its meaning is not we will be happy forever. Love will make you drown in a swamp, slap you in the face, and leave you feeling fragile. However, the highest point of love is greater than the depths of the sea. Falling in love is worth it because love is real, and it still exists. 

In our society many people have no idea what true love is. The modern entertainment industry has nuanced a very twisted image of love, and it has polluted many minds. Social media hasn't helped much either, as being used mostly by young adults who often have a pretty poor understanding of what love is, they misrepresent everything.

Never forget to love because to fall in love is to embrace life, enjoy every moment, and have the conviction that we are creators. For that reason do not try to rewrite the book, on the contrary, feel happy for all those people with whom you shared special moments. These pages are a real gift for your old age.

Powerful and charismatic, Aries, the  first sign of the zodiac, when it comes to love and romance, Aries feeds on fire, its natural element.

Known for his unpredictable temperament and tenderness, Aries is multifaceted when it comes to love.
