Justin Ladobruk is a husband, father, and shit magnet. He and his wife, Lyndsay, and daughter, Aurora, live full time in a travel trailer. They adventure across North America and find work where they can. Justin writes short stories and works on novels in his spare time when he’s not working as a driver or dealing with renovations and vehicle maintenance. Lyndsay is an artist and makes the covers for Justin’s work, and provides the feedback that turns his drek into something interesting.

Zaphkiel stood silently beside the Creator's corporeal form as the sun shone brightly in the sky overhead. The ocean's breeze made their robes flutter. It wasn't often that the angels were permitted to enter the material universe, though many had no desire to enter it if they could avoid doing so. But as the keeper of knowledge, Zaphkiel relished the chance to study Creation, especially the wondrous creatures that had emerged on so many far flung worlds.
But it wasn't the creatures in the ocean or the bugs crawling along the beach that interested the celestial entities on that day. Rather, they were watching the edge of a marsh
