I wrote this book because there is not a lot of discussions pertaining to the end of the world. It seems as if every time there is an enormous crisis, people wonder if the time is near and if the world is coming to an end.

I find it interesting that some people know exactly how the world will end, and yet others believe that there is something that is going to happen, but they are not sure what.

What is also interesting is that many people do not want to hear anything about the end of the world at all. Many years ago, our pastor began a series on the end-time, and a few people actually got up and walked out.

When you talk to people about the end of the world and the events that will happen, people will say that they do not believe these things will occur. Others will tell you that they do not believe that God is that mean, and some will wish that you would just go away.

I can honestly say that the end-of-the-world events are real and that they will happen. I wrote this book to inform people as to how we are going to get there. The book contains the events, circumstances, and the attitudes of people as we get closer to the end of the world.

In addition, I firmly believe that this book, and others that are like it, will help guide people from the pre-Rapture and through the Millennium.

World Domination

What if I told you that there was going come a time when there will be a one-world government and a one-world religion, what kind of reaction would you have? Would you tell me that the professionals in their little white coats should come and take me away to a psychological facility? Or would you be thinking that I was on some kind of substance and it has gotten the better of me? Or would you tell me that I need to go to Hollywood and write science-fiction movies?

It is probably difficult to imagine that the nations and the people of the world will allow one leader to be in control of the entire planet. I am referring to a leader who will, one way or the other, control the majority of things that will happen in this world.

This is a world leader who is an expert in deceit and will have the planet in love with him. Utilizing his genius, deceitfulness, and charisma, he will have the world eating out of the palm of his hand, at least for a time. Then this gifted leader will no longer play nice, and he will begin to show his true agenda.

This agenda will include killing people, controlling who can buy or sell everything, and wanting the world to worship him. It is ironic, but the people of the world will allow him to do these things without giving it any thought.

This will be blind loyalty and blind obedience, which are considerably worse than what occurred during the reign of Hitler and Stalin. Humans tend to trust, honor, and fall in love with monsters and then will follow these leaders no matter what.

During the seven-year tribulation, there will be events that the world has never or will ever see again.

There will be judgments that will bring on incomprehensible plagues, and much of the population that is still living during that time will suffer tremendously. People think that the 2020 Coronavirus (COVID-19) was horrific and unbearable. This virus is microscopic in comparison to the judgments that will be taken place during the tribulation. At best, the Coronavirus is a mere mention, even a wake-up call, but by no means is it in the same league as the judgements that will occur during the tribulation.

During the tribulation, there will be massive famine and a great, massive earthquake where every island and mountain will move out of place. There will be locustlike creatures that have the power as scorpions, and they will torment people for five months. The torment will be so tremendous that people will want to die but will not be able to. The waters of the world—which include the seas, rivers, and fountains—will turn to blood. There will also be hail that will weigh one hundred pounds and will fall from the skies, and people will be inundated with sores. These are just a few of the plagues and judgments that will occur.

However, before the world leader comes into power and before the tribulation period, millions of people will disappear off the face of this earth. These will be parents, children, neighbors, and others who will simply be gone; they will be raptured.

The questions on the minds of people should be, How are we going to get there, and why is all this happening to us? Even a more profound question would be, Is it possible to escape the tribulation?

All the above events and much more will happen—perhaps you should wonder where you will be and what your role is in all this.

The End of the World—Bible Prophecy

For decades, Christians have been saying that Jesus Christ is coming back and that it will be soon. They are correct, and Jesus is coming back; however, no one knows when but God the Father (Matthew 24:36). It is not that God is tarrying about the return of Christ, but one day to God is as a thousand years (2 Peter 3:8).

Even though the vast majority of people on this planet do not believe it or even care that there will be judgments, we know from reading the Bible that God always gives people a chance to repent and turn from their sinful ways (Matthew 4:17, Acts 3:19, Revelation 2:5). From the beginning of time, man has done exactly what they wanted to do and has totally disregarded the warnings from God.

In addition to our sinful lives and more than anything else, there will be judgement for the rejection of the Son of God, who is Jesus Christ (John 3:18–21). God sent His son to die for our sins so that we would not have to (John 3–16). He sent His son to save us and, therefore, giving us eternal life. What did we do to His son? We tortured Him, beat Him, spat on Him, and finally gave Him the horrible death of crucifixion.

Judgment is coming, and the following are some things to look for. Know that the return of Christ is near, and some of these include:

This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come: For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy. Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good. Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasure more than lovers of God. Having a form of godliness but denying the power thereof; from such turn away. For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lust. Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. Now as Jan’nes and Jam’-bres withstood Moses, so, do these also resist the truth; men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith. (2 Timothy 3:1–8)

If we look at these verses and look at our world, do we find these things?

Going Away from God

The following are a few definitions and/or meanings for the above scriptures:

Boasters. The Greek-word translated boasters is alazon, which is a claim made by a quack that is promising something but unable to deliver that which was promised. There are no shortages of this in our world.

Proud. This is something that we see a tremendous amount of, but too much of the wrong kind of pride. It is wonderful to be proud of our children and grandkids for their accomplishments. However, it is our own individual pride that is problematic. It is our pride that keeps us from doing things that may humble us and make us easier to deal with. Instead of being open and caring human beings, many people take their pride right to their graves.

The Greek word is huperephanos, and it is one who compares himself (secretly or openly) with others and lifts himself above them. This word is always used in the evil sense of arrogant, disdainful, and haughty.

Blasphemers. This refers to those who use the Lord’s name in vain. It is not just only saying God but it is also saying God’s name followed by other words. How much do we hear God’s name used in vain in movies? There is absolutely no reason for His name to be used in vain, and yet the movie industry cannot seem to make a movie without using it.
