    About the Author

This is how the world will end. The evil autocrats in charge were not seen nor heard firsthand. Everybody just abided by what was dictated by the unknown rulers. The authoritarians were hidden deep within the government, not only in this country but in the entire world. They were hidden in plain sight. Each day, they became bolder and more blatant. They made the rules and changed them on a daily basis, contradicting things that they were reporting regularly. They were creating fear and uncertainty within the people of this world. Using this technique, they were able to manipulate even the closest of families to stay away from one another. This is how they would gain control of all humans until the end of time. Divide and conquer!

    * * *

    The previous year…

"Come this way, I see some tracks!" said a voice from behind, in the direction that Robbiey had been killed.

Jessie froze for a second. She then approached the pack. She quietly said, Follow me. We must get out of here before the trackers find us.

Another voice from behind them said, "Get your guns ready! We are upon them!"

Jessie moved forward. Come! she demanded in a loud whisper.

The pack followed her as she took off running.

"I see them! This way!" the voice said from behind.

Frawas took off in a cat's sprint following at first and then speeding past the canine. She passed Jessie, hooked to the right, they all followed. Suddenly, she stopped.

What are you doing? Jessie asked.

Frawas leaped. At that moment, she and Jessie disappeared. The pack that followed also disappeared as they reached the same spot that Jessie had been.

The night Frawas helped Jessie and the pack make the quantum leap:

Jessie and the pack that had been following Frawas leaped into earth's future. It was a place where most of the population was extinct. She was unaware of her current situation; although from where she stood, all that she could see was a dark desolate existence.

There were no signs of human life. The only lights that were seen was that of the Moon. She could sense death all around her and would soon see it firsthand as she and the wolves explored further.

The times to come must be changed, or this barren world will be our future.

    Chapter 1

    The Plandemic

    Jumping to the future…

Stella sat straight up. What a nightmare! she thought as she inhaled deeply.

Stella, breakfast is ready, Stella's mother tapped as she hollered through the door.

I'll be right there, Stella answered, trying to shake the dream from her mind.

She got up, quickly got ready, and walked into the kitchen where her mother and father were sitting at the table.

Good morning. I had the craziest dream, Mom.

Sit down, Stella. Something crazy is going on in this country, her father told her. However, this is no dream!

    What is it, Dad?

Stella's mother served her breakfast and sat down.

    Thanks, Mom.

Her father turned up the television. Watch this.

It was on a news channel.

On the news in a nutshell: There had been a virus released by a communist party. Thousands died and thousands more were hospitalized in one small area in that country. However, they hid the fact that the release of that virus had happened weeks, perhaps months, earlier. They made up a story that this virus was caused by bats. This virus is spreading worldwide and was considered worse than any other of all time. A plandemic, estimated to kill off over half of the world's population. The confusion about what had actually happened was still up in the air and the story was changing by the minute.

One thing that was continually regurgitated was that this virus was airborne. It lingered in the air for hours. Staying in the air this long would ensure that you would, in fact, be infected. The death rate, they said, was at least 50 percent. They gathered this information from the country that this virus originated.

Another thing that they said was that germs would only die on copper or brass surfaces instantly. If it landed on anything other than those two surfaces, it would stay alive
