    Chapter 1

    Meet the Maxwell’s

Introducing the strongest, fastest, boldest, dopest sibling trio you’ll ever meet. The Maxwell 3: Jason Maxwell, age seventeen; Jonathan Maxwell, fifteen; and Tina Maxwell, fourteen. All three trained in self-defense with the illustrious senior they call Pops—Jerome Maxwell. Pops vowed to teach his kids the art of aikido, kung fu, and strength training so they can protect themselves against bullies and criminals.

From the tender age of eight, each Maxwell child started on their journey toward optimum fitness through rigorous martial arts and strength training. Their mom, affectionately known as Mae Lou, is a nurse and nutritionist who keep her kids on a healthy eating path. Some people may call her a health nut, but Mama Mae will tell you nuts are good for you!

The Maxwell kids make it their mission to help those being taken advantage of—whether it’s a fellow student being bullied or a new family being harassed because they are different. The Maxwells come to the rescue. They don’t just fight the battles for those in need, they also show them how to fight for themselves. The Maxwell parents approve so long as it doesn’t get them in trouble or interfere with their studies. Mom and Dad believe in healthy and strong GPAs too.

Given their special abilities, they are regular kids who go through the day-to-day challenges of being brothers and sister and just plain kids. Their lives are no different from anybody else’s. Especially this Tuesday. A typical Maxwell morning …

That gargling sound with heavy breathing? That was Jason Maxwell knocked out from pulling an all-nighter. Did he burn the midnight oil with his homies? Nope. Not Jason’s style. Actually, he had a smokin’ hot date with a history book. He was studying for his midterms until the itty-bitty wee hours and fell asleep, fully clothed, on top of his bed. Let’s learn more about the oldest boy:
