About this ebook

Tad looks to the sky through fast moving clouds. He closes his eyes and pictures what heaven must be like. A gentle rain begins to fall from the sky. He drifts off to sleep on his lily pad. Tad dreams that night of heaven's gates shimmering of soft rainbow colors. The gates open, the streets shine of pure gold, so beautiful that he could see through them. Tad was so excited. Suddenly, he heard laughter, singing, and felt a rushing wind above him. He looked up and saw mighty angels smiling at him.

First and foremost, I want to give glory to my Lord and Savior for giving me insight to write this children’s book as part of my ministry to all those who will read and be inspired by the contents within its pages.

This story is inspired by a simple question asked by a young boy named Kayleb one Sunday morning, What is heaven really like?

He attended my class each week. He was faithful, loving, and sometimes a mischievous child. I am truly grateful for our time together. Thank you, Kayleb, for asking that most important question.

Last but certainly not least, I’d like to give my love and thanks to my wonderful husband, Johnny, daughter, Jessica, son, Mark, and two grandsons, Colton and Cayden, for all their support and belief
