About this ebook

Adrilynn was tired of hurting. This was twice she had gone through a loss such as this. Why was God allowing this to happen to her again? Did she deserve these hardships as the so-called people who loved her said? Was she cursed? So many questions, so few answers.

Again, Adrilynn found herself trudging through life alone. Happiness seemed to be a distant friend, and the love of her life even farther than that. What would she do now? Who could she turn to in her time of need? Was God truly able to mend a broken heart or restore a broken marriage? With the bricks of life lying at her feet, she could only trust God to do what He does as the Potter--tear down and rebuild.

This is trash. Next time you wanna write a book, don't. I'd give it zero stars if I could. 6 year olds have written better stories. Seek help expeditiously.

About the Author

Preface

PTSD is real. There are many types of post-traumatic stress disorders. They diagnosed her with PTSD of domestic violence. But she was convinced that it had to be more like neglect, abandonment, and rejection. Could she be crazy?

Demolition is about a woman who was torn down for what seemed the hundredth time. With a marriage falling apart, her kids acting crazy, and losing her job, she thought she would surely go insane. But her God would send her personal construction men and women to wreck yet another piece of her world. At first, she had no idea that it was God until she was told during one of her training days that she had to be torn down to be rebuilt.

Acknowledgments

First, to my heavenly Father and Lord Jesus Christ, thank You for the gift of storytelling in the form of writing. Thank You for the people that You have placed in my life to assist in my journey to increase my testimony.

Special thanks to my husband, children, my parents, my siblings, and BFFs. Also, a special thank-you to my spiritual mother and mentor. To all of the people who have come into my life and believed in the gift that God has placed inside me, and to all the people who didn't believe, thank you. May God bless each of you.

Thanks to my nephew, Fabian Fulton, for his cover art illustration.

For everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven.

—Ecclesiastes 3:1

The water rained with force. She could see the steam rising above her head. She hung her head lower into her chest. The water that ran down her face couldn't be distinguished between shower water and tears. She felt defeated and lower than she had since all of this had started. The water beat harder onto her neck and shoulders, bringing her back to the present. Her neck, her shoulders, and back, there she was. She had found the present time. She was, in fact, in the shower. She could feel her spine, her thighs, her calves. Thank God, Kathleen had just taught her the trick of mindfulness. Without it, she may not have been able to pull herself out of the ocean of emotions that threatened to drown her. She washed while she had control of her being yet again.

As disturbing as her thoughts had made her in the shower, the water massage had her skin feeling wonderful. After moisturizing her skin, she quickly dressed. There was absolutely no time to sulk as she was Mommy first. All her needs and desires were at the bottom of her list. Rushing out of her bedroom, she kissed her little prince on the forehead while he enjoyed his snack. He had nursing services that came to the house to care for him since he had a tracheostomy. She wasn't confident at all in the nursing care this particular nurse gave, but she couldn't stop to stay with him as the
