INTRODUCTION

The Stone of the Vault, a book written solely by Author Joseph William Quintina Sr., is a three part story involving the ‘Stone of the Vault’, the governments and the people initially of Italy and the United States and subsequently other countries. The author hopes the audience of this book will come to a full appreciation of the introduction into the dynamics of these countries and the existence of the underworld.

The author will begin with the state of existence between the people of these countries, the politicians and dictators involved, and the schemers who represent the government’s role. The corruptors and conspirators are the news media through radio, books and/or television influencing their government in areas of taxation, economies, armed forces and numerous programs. These united forces around the world dredge their powers to one another to keep their countries in existence.

There is no country in the twenty to twenty-first century of the industrial revolution that has had the total control of any country in the last one hundred years without the existence of an underworld. In discussing how the vault got involved, we will use the United States as an example along with other countries.

The author hopes the readers will enjoy the book and perhaps re-read the book in order to make believe they are the schemer, corruptor, conspirator or the underworld boss while getting lost in the book through imagination. Enjoy the read!

LET’S SHOOT POOL WON’T WE

Chapter I

The year is 2020

The world is on the brink of nuclear war, total annihilation. Twelve countries from the different continents secretly decide to meet in the southern island off the shores of the South Pacific. They are seeking to take a step back from the brink of disaster and come up with a plan on how to do this. A dignitary from each country decide to meet twice a year for the next four years to iron out the details of how these twelve men are going to formulate a plan to step away from disaster and bring back justice.

Five years has passed and decisions were made. The twelve men are ready to reveal what is to take place and all the countries they represent agreed. While standing on the island in 2025 and ready to fly into Las Vegas, Nevada, the Arab leader asked the Chinese leader, Do you think that this is going to take place?

Still unsure, they agree to move forward with their plan.

Immediately the story switches to 1911.

Rome, Italy, in the basement of the Basilica. A meeting was taking place with the Pope’s people and the Black Hand at the Catholic Church. They were discussing how to help the poor peasant people of Italy that were making their livelihood by growing food and making wine while the aristocratic leaders make their money from the all the profits.

Italy was one of these countries in which its peasants produce food, wine and olive oil for the world. One of those countries that buy from Italy was the United States. The Italian Government made money on what they produce plus charge them a high tax over its entire people. The reason for the meeting with the Catholic Church and the Black Hand was to come up with a solution to help the people of Italy keep more of their earnings and persuade the government to give the people of Italy a fair shake at making a decent living. The Catholic Church had no choice in going with the Black Hand. This was their last resort as the government of Italy and the aristocrats that run Italy were not really interested in what the Catholic Church had to say.

So, with the Black Hand in the basement of the Basilica, having a secret meeting with the church, the Black hand stated, Don’t worry, we can take care of this problem. The Black Hand was a police force with the government that decided to break away from the government around 1890 because they didn’t like the way the government was running Italy. The men that were representing the Black Hand were Franco Deluca and Lou Garzo, their two top men. These top echelon told the Church that they would come up with a plan to persuade the government of Italy to see the light. The Catholic Church asked Franco and Lou, How will you do this? and they responded, Don’t worry…A plan will go forth and nobody will get hurt…Just leave it up to us. The plan went like this: There will be a fishing boat that will be loaded with fish and blown up with no crew aboard; at a police station in Malan, the front door will be blown off on a weekend; and the docks in the United States accepting a shipment of the highest price wine from Italy will be swept away from the dock’s warehouse. All this would be done on a certain day simultaneously. Now immediately after that was done, the Black Hand would end up talking and making a deal with the government. Then a bank in Switzerland along with a bank in the United States would be set up an account for the money from these endeavors and give a fair share to the people of Italy. The Catholic Church would look good in the people’s eyes and perhaps come to Church and help the Church grow.

The plan started to unfold. It was on a weekend and midnight in Italy. Tony Pacheco set up the dock in Sicily with the boat loaded with fish and paid off the security of the dock to look the other way when they blew up the boat. The police station in Malan had a stick of dynamite attached just outside its front door with enough charge to blow it off. At the same time, the ship that was bringing the best wine from Italy to the United States for import was stolen from the warehouse of the docks as the dock workers were paid off from the American Mafia who runs the union. It all happened simultaneously. The government was shocked at these events and figured out that the only way something like this could have happened was through the Black Hand.

So they immediately talked and decided to have a meeting with the Black Hand to see what the Black Hand wanted. The aristocratic government met with the Black Hand. The Black Hand told the government that they represented the people of Italy and that they wanted a better deal as far as producing products and that they wanted to be compensated fairly.

The Italian government knew that what had taken place was just a warning from the Black Hand. They knew what they may have to lose if more wine or food shipments were interrupted or if there was a strike by the peasants who produced these products. This would be averted if they came up with a solution. So the Italian government decided there was nothing to lose by making an agreement that the peasants would go for and the operation of the Italian government could still run smoothly.

The plan was this: the Italian government agreed to give five percent (5%), which was considered a fair amount of income, to each peasant of all exported goods, amounting to around two lira. Now to do this the Black Hand set up the bank in Switzerland and the bank in the United States to make interest on loans of all types through the American Mafia, so that more people could buy the Italian products, especially in Little Italy and the United States and in other countries in order to move product. The Italian government liked the plan. They saw it as a country that could make money and move forward. Also in the plan, the Black Hand thought it would be a good idea if the Catholic Church along with other Churches were to get two percent (2%) of the profits to run their missionaries. The Italian government and the Black Hand came to an agreement to do this.

Now the year is 1913

The Italian government saw that this plan has been working well so far. So they see if the Black Hand had any other way for them to make money because the Italian government wanted to become a super power in Europe. So they held another meeting with the Black Hand and they told the Black Hand of their plans to build a Navy and an Army that would create a more secure Italy. The Black Hand told the Italian government of another way for them to make more money by dealing with loans, especially in the United States. These loans would be loaned out to Italians or anybody that was trying to make capital in the United States. These loans would go through the U.S. banks and the profits from these loans would end up in a Swiss bank accounts. The Italian government liked that because U.S. money was worth more than the Italian Lira. The Italian government could see that this had potential.
