    Memories

    Ahhh! Where am I?

As he looks around, he sees himself in the middle of a desert. He doesn’t know where he’s at or how he got there; but a craft of some sort is a twisted, burned hulk of metal. As he tries to make his way back into the craft, his body is burned, bloody, and broken; he moves slowly to it.

    AAAAUUUURRR!

This man’s pain feels as if it is thousands of people dying at once. Upon realizing he is lost, alone, and has no hope for help, he starts to weep alone for himself. One thought is that he is alive, and he must live.

Once inside this craft, he begins to look for a medical kit. Feeling for his bruises and cuts, he starts to bind himself up.

AAAOOOUURR! He grits his teeth from the pain when he wraps his chest.

DAMN! I have been in many battles. I have never been in so much PAIN in life. This goes for being a warrior.

He says as one thinks of oneself.

Like a hammer to anvil, he hits the top of the console. No utter of noise comes again.

Shit! Damn thing! What’s going on with me? I have to get everything together or I’m doomed to die.

Three days have gone by. It is still unknown what he is or who he is. This man makes a home out of nothing, but his supplies of food and water are going fast. It’s time to search for life again. This man packs for the journey to the unknown.

    Fat chance!

Shut up! Damn thing! Everything that you say makes me mad!

    No, I don’t!

    I’m leaving you here.

    Bye.

This man leaves across the sands to look for food and water.

    Bye, Herold, my friend.

Two days into the sands, the food and water are running out. The heat is getting to numb his mind, even when he is sitting under an overhang of a rock. The pain of empty thoughts of his life comes to him in a foggy dream.

In coming! says the commander of the watch, Toll, to all battle stations, as the alarms ring from within the compound, blazing with fire from all directions. The commander orders ships out to stop this onslaught of spaceships on them.

Toll, yes. The flight leader, Gaus, asks, That renegade of ours took the kinglord’s ship out there in the middle of the Elocian’s fleet.

He’s doomed either way by our kinglord or by those darn Elocians, says Toll.

Yes, he shall suffer for such outrage. Into the pit, he goes, snarls Gaus.

Down from the skies above comes a flight of ships bringing fire and carnage down on them. Buildings, houses, and structures burst into a raging inferno as they watch it come down upon them.

BOOOOMM! It echoes in his head. He wakes with a terrible realization that it is a dream. He is sweating from the acceleration of his dream. He knows that his friends are just fine, but he doesn’t know when or where they are at on some world Ekara. His memories are still very vague of what he is and what he is about.

He begins to look about, and he sees that he’s back in a stupid desert. Hot as it is, he begins to drink some water from his jug. He realizes what he is doing here. To find more food and water so that he will live. He looks in his jug and finds that it’s almost gone. So he packs himself up and looks toward the direction in
