Chapter 1
Strawberry Kisses
Let him kiss me with the kisses of his mouth; For your love is better than wine.

Insanity was a milestone compared to what was manifesting inside of Jacob, and hell had no fury. A friendly wave and an innocent smile would prove to be a one-sided and twisted love affair.
But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the detestable, as for murderers, the sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death. (Revelation 21:8)
It all started back in the 1800s, somewhere in the South, with the beautiful Miss Caroline. At the age of sixteen, Miss Caroline’s favorite pastime was having tea with her mother (Mrs. Ruby) in their charming front porch. The porch wrapped around a large three-story baby mansion, where beauty, greed, and deception lived, and unrested evil souls were soon to dwell.
Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. (Ephesians 6:10–12)
Miss Caroline was picture perfect in her yellow pastel southern belle dress while she enjoyed a cup of hot tea on her front porch. Showing good manners, Miss Caroline politely waved back at the young men, who would leisurely and often stroll by her house, and other young men would wave from their horse-drawn carriages, which made a clonking sound on the cobblestone streets. A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another
(John 13:34–35).
Miss Caroline had many admirers, but no one admired her more than Jacob did. Jacob was a shy and extraordinary young man who had a significant crush on Miss Caroline. Jacob would find any excuse to walk by Miss Caroline’s house three to four times a day only to wave and say, Hello, what a wonderful day we’re having.
And with a warm smile, she would reply, Hello again, Mr. Jacob, and yes, it’s a wonderful day.
Jacob’s heart would race with excitement, but little did Miss Caroline know Jacob had a dark side. For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart

Jacob dealt with severe mood swings all his life, and although he had a strong love for his parents, Mr. Edward and Mrs. Margret Collins, Jacob would often lash out at them. Jacob’s parents were the proud owners of Collins Ice Company, and they mingled only with the elite. Mrs. Collins demanded homeschooling for Jacob because she was afraid that he would bring shame to the family with one of his emotional outbursts. No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money
(Matthew 6:24)
Mr. Collins develop a sleep disorder after the death of Mrs. Margret Collins, Jacob’s mother. During one of his restless nights, at exactly 3:00 a.m., the muffled sounds of a conversation started coming from Jacob’s bedroom, and it was very unnerving; someone or something unholy was in Jacob’s room, and Mr. Collins is afraid for the first time in his life.
Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. Therefore, take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm. Stand
