Congratulations.
By reading this book, you’re about to take that first, all-important step toward financial independence, freedom, and the security that only comes from having money in the bank—lots of money in the bank.
Most of us work hard for our paychecks. We grind our way through the morning traffic, stay focused on our tasks for the day, eat lunch, listen to the boss, make our way back home in that moving parking lot called rush hour,
and get up the next day and do it all over again! But it doesn’t have to be this way. It really doesn’t.
The simple fact is that anyone with drive, dedication, and the details outlined in the chapters ahead can invest in real estate and make money—sometimes a great deal of money. Do you think Donald Trump labored his way to wealth? Hardly. Few people are fortunate enough to be able to work their way to wealth. In this day and age, most families need two incomes just to stay afloat, and there’s no way these people are going to work their way to wealth.
True wealth building is done through investing and, with increasing frequency, investing specifically in real estate—property, houses, condos, duplexes and triplexes, apartment buildings, and commercial properties. That’s where true wealth building takes place. Just ask The Donald.
You don’t need a ton of cash, you don’t need a college degree, and you don’t need the eye of an interior decorator. Real estate investing is for everyone (as you’ll soon discover). It’s flexible, it’s something you can design and control to fit your lifestyle, and it offers rewards and benefits that no other investment offers—not stocks, bonds, mutual funds, not collectibles, fine art, or gold bullion. Virtually, no other investment offers the limited downside potential and the unlimited upside potential that real estate offers. And you can live in it!
Markets go up and down, the price of gold rises and falls, but real estate holds its value in downtimes and increases in value (appreciates) when times are good—and there’s plenty of statistical information to back that up. It’s a fact. Real estate has historically outperformed all other investments over the long and short term. So how come everybody isn’t getting rich?
There’s no place like home.
The answer is simple: they don’t know how to. There’s strategy involved in real estate investing. You can’t blindly pick any property and hope for the best. You have to know a bit about how the real estate business works, how to find the right property, and how to design the right investment model for your talents, your interests, your lifestyle, and your goals. That takes some time and effort. It’s not a get-rich-quick
scheme, but it is a get-rich investment strategy that can pay out some very nice returns.
So what do you need to get started? First, you need to know how to develop a real estate investment strategy, which you’ll learn to do as you read along.
You need motivation. This isn’t going to happen without it. If you just read this book, but don’t take the next step and act on what you learn, you won’t get to where you want to be.
You need dedication. There’s work involved in real estate investing, especially when you’re just starting out. Again, if you’re looking for the next get-rich-quick
scam to come down the pike, real estate investing isn’t the way to go. So in order to reach your investment goals and build true wealth, you need to dedicate time and energy to the investment process. However, it’s time and energy that will pay off handsomely.
Finally, you need a desire for real profit. Now, that may sound strange—who doesn’t desire profit? But some folks are happy with a 3.75% return on their CDs. These people desire profit, just not a lot of it. They’re happy with what they get. However, if you have the desire for real profits—tens of thousands of dollars of profit each year—then keep reading.
Real estate investing offers you independence—the opportunity to design your own life, the way you want it. That’s something few people can do, and having the independence to direct your own future is one of the fringe benefits to property investing that few consider but all of us want.
A well-designed and executed real estate investment strategy offers comfort—a higher quality of life. You don’t have to live from paycheck to paycheck—you own property, and you’ve got cash in the account! There’s a level of comfort that comes with money in the bank. It’s difficult to describe but easy to imagine.
Your real estate investments will add security and stability to your life in ways that no other investment can. An excellent return on your investment (ROI), low buy-in, flexibility, and stability—that’s what this book is all about. No fly-by-night scam, just a good, solid investment strategy that will work—for you!
