- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Come and adventure with BooBoo, the blue gosling who loves to eat. She will take you around the farm visiting the animals and tasting their food. As BooBoo walks around, she will take the readers to all of her special places where she gets her “good food”. BooBoo encounters many different animals and insects and it will be a great way to learn them. Many of these are not named in the book but the reader can see them in the illustrations and can be added to their vocabulary. The language is easy for children to understand and follow and provides repetition. It can also offer a great lesson for toddlers who always put everything in their mouth. The illustrations are simple, a mix between a caricature and real. It uses watercolor and pen strokes to describe the soft elegance and also place strong emphasis. The illustrations focus on BooBoo by having lots of white space, making it easy to follow BooBoo’s actions and reactions. The children will not be able to lose or forget BooBoo. The size of the book is small enough for children to hold and turn the pages. Each page has one or two short sentences, easy for children to follow and enjoy BooBoo’s company. This book is part of a series, Gossie & Friends, that follows different goslings. Please also check out BooBoo’s siblings.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Boo Boo is a curious little gosling. She loves to eat everything all day long. However, there are some things she does not want to eaat.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Very cute and simple. Charming would have to be the word I'd use. Just the thing to attract the attention of a baby or toddler. Can't recommend them enough :)This one is funnier than most, though I can't say why. I will say that after several books (and several readings of each book), one starts to notice how formulaic they are. But that's all right. Children like predictable things.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5A quick, simple, cute story.
