Excerpt from Masquerade in Disguise

Silas walked out and saw her sister straddling me. She grabbed hold of her sisters' girlfriend and snatched off her clothes. She pulled her sisters' lover into the bed and began locking her to the chains that hid its connection underneath the frame. All the while, Sian remained on top of me, trying to keep me from separating them. I struggled to get her from being on top when she held me tighter. Finally, I tilted my head toward the bed only to see Silas as she reached in to kiss Lisa then stopped.

Idedicate this to the people who have and/or search for the courage to confront their sexuality. For life is meant to be comfortable with the one you accept and love. To the people who have been called out of their name for being in a relationship with one no one agrees of, I honor you in my writing.

To the ones who taunted my illiterate mother who taught me not to curse but hear me frustrated instead, I offer you this reading. My uncles, aunts, grandmother, grandfather, cousins, nieces and nephews who desire me to claim them when I knew nothing of them; to their baby mothers who wished I lie in bed with them too. To the ones who desired my love but didn’t understand my heart isn’t beating for them here is a bit of an illusion.

To the social workers who did not do the right thing, I understand things are not always done right. To the ones who violated me, and my offspring, and my offspring’s offspring by forcing themselves into our lives, here is a story to tell.

To the men that deemed worthy of matrimony, and we never made it down the aisle. The ones that loved me, protected me, honored me, and have not been here in a while, I miss you. To my calming moments in the middle of the day, the sounds of your giggles when we walk along the way. To us united no matter who holds it secret or has told. To the mate that intertwines with my soul. My success and accomplishments guided by your heartbeat with love.

To the children born through me, taken away from me, and bonded with me, I am sorry life ended this way. Remember to every plan, prospering is on the way. Its always another day.

To my classmates who heard me complain, listened to me cheer, been there through the rough times and the publication peers, I acknowledge you, bless you, praise you, and adore you. You are the best.

Oh, and the people who loved me in the past, I know this may disappoint your illusions of me, I apologize for that. I have written other styles and more genres will be composed.

Darkness covered the long winding road of Elegacy Sky. Only the view of discoloured patchy clouds and stars decorated the tips of the tall trees. I drove the speed limit of a school district in the middle of the mansions' manicured grounds. I moved along with the landscaping and then came to a stop. When I arrived at the parking platform, I parked in a space near a Honda. I didn't want the Jeep Renegade compared to Benz's and Lamborghinis that I couldn't afford. 

Nervous and trembling, I looked into my glove compartment and grabbed out a pack of cigarettes. After I pulled one out, I took a slight puff to calm my nerves. Even though a blunt would've worked better, I was deprived of that type of smoke. My ex-boyfriend's greed took the stash when he dumped me. 

Reaching down to grab my heels and slip them on, I overheard someone in the car next to me say, The only night we have cheat time, remember?

Thoughts wondered if they would hold onto that agreement. I saw a tall thin dark male holding a short woman's waist as she held her head down. She walked in with a lace dress revealing panties and bra. The mystery man who stood in silk pajamas and house shoes graciously shared the spotlight at the door as a photographer took photos. 

I locked the car door and walked toward the entry when a sexy muscular valet with a bow tie and boxers walked up to me. This parking area is for couples. Can I valet your car further back toward the rear?
