About this ebook
My hoodie is freakishly oversized.
It covers my body in a way that makes me feel comfortable.
Safe. Invisible.
Wren Martin isn’t what you would call a popular girl. She is remarkably average, gets good grades, and aspires to get a scholarship to her dream college and leave her hometown, as it’s filled with impossible memories.
Asher Reed—star athlete and heartthrob of Eastview High—is everything wrong with high school in one frustratingly good-looking body. But when an on-field accident leaves him sidelined for the season, he takes an interest in Wren.
With an undeniable connection, Wren and Asher form a friendship that quickly turns into something more. Yuen Wright’s heartwarming debut is a reminder that when someone really sees you, the last thing you want is to be invisible.

- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5I gave up 3 pages in because I kept editing it in my head and I can't enjoy books when that happens. The beginning's very tell-y and it could easily be fixed. The publisher's wattpad books which probably means this got lots of upvotes or similar but hasn't necessarily stood up to editorial scrutiny.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5A nicely done tale of two disparate teens who meet by accident even though they attend the same school. Both are wounded by personal traumas, the details of which are fed to readers quite well. Smart and satisfying, particularly in view of the fact that the author wrote the first draft at age thirteen and set it in a different country. I received my copy in today's mail and finished it before supper. Hope to see more from this talented author.
