Avery Rowan

Avery Rowan has had a titillating fantasy life and, thankfully for lovers of erotic stories, Avery has decided to share some of those stories with us. Avery's stories contain strong characters, wild adventures, and a high level of steaminess. While each has a happy ending, they also leave you breathing heavy and wishing your lover or battery-operated-boyfriend was near at hand.Avery lives along the beach in sunny Florida, basking in the sun's rays while the rolling waves provide a soothing white noise to the writing process. When not writing, Avery is with family and friends, getting the most out of this life, just like the character's in Avery's stories. Life is to be lived and savored, not shied away from, so break out of the norms and grab all you can get out of it.

W hat do you mean, our flight’s canceled? Brett Turney asked as he leaned closer to the clerk, a thin man with a bent nose and slick hair, on the other side of the counter. Surely, he hadn’t heard the man right. There’s no way he heard the man right. It’s two days before Christmas. How can you cancel a flight two days before one of the biggest holidays of the year?

I’m sorry, sir, but the weather is too severe for the plane to take off safely. We’re hoping it will clear up by tomorrow morning. The man looked skittish, as if he were ready to bolt in the face of Brett’s fury.

Brett turned to his coworker and traveling companion for this business trip, Vanessa Williams. Can you believe this? What the hell are we supposed to do now? He turned back to the clerk, ready to rip the man’s head off. What the hell are we supposed to do now?

We’ve made arrangements with the hotel next door to accommodate you for the evening, the clerk told him, and then quickly added, Free of charge, of course.

And what are we supposed to do about our luggage? He couldn’t believe this was happening. He wanted to be home, snuggled in his own bed, getting ready for Christmas. Not that he had anything to get ready for, of course. It wasn’t like he had a family nearby. He usually spent it alone, but that’s what he enjoyed about it. No people. It’s not like I packed pajamas in my laptop bag.

I’m afraid the airline already transferred the luggage to the next flight. The man visibly cringed as he said it.

So no change of clothes? No toothbrush? No deodorant? He turned and glanced back at Vanessa, and his irritation grew when he noticed she simply stood there, clutching her purse in front of her with both hands, grinning as if the airline had not just ruined their entire night and possibly their Christmas. You think this is funny?

She shrugged, her light brown hair slipping off her shoulder to fall along her back. It’s one night. No big deal. We’ve already been gone for four days, so one more night won’t kill us. And I’m sure the hotel has toothbrushes and deodorant at the front desk.

    And our clothes?

Who cares? Sleep in your underwear or naked. No one will know you’re wearing the same clothes two days in a row, and if they do, then they’re in the same situation as us and are also wearing the same clothes. She took a step closer to him, placing a hand on his upper arm, and he fought the tremor of electricity that rippled through him at her touch. Really, Brett. It’s not his fault we’re snowed in. We knew this was a possibility when our jackass boss sent us out here. If we had left yesterday instead of being forced to attend that damn banquet last night, we’d be fine. But here we are, so let’s make the best of it. She turned back to the clerk. Does the hotel have a restaurant? I’m starving.

The clerk nodded, smiling over at her, probably relieved to have her on his side. "It does, and
