The Starship Avenger Guardian 2
Introduction
Five years went by and things were going well. The people of Moonbase Omega were making a good life. Many of the people had begun having children. The underground farm was producing food that was of excellent quality. David enjoyed fishing on some of the lakes with Rebecca at his side.
There were only 4 advanced races in the galaxy and all came from Earth: humans, the Dragons who left earth long ago, the Grays, or the Arconians, and the Angel people, or Arcadians.
Some of the people liked exploring the galaxy; one of the most visited solar systems was only 40 light years from the moonbase. It had seven planets; three that were crystal planets with amazing crystalline formations. The crystal planets have a hydrogen atmosphere and people could not breathe the air. They walked around in space suits, exploring the many crystals. Some were huge and some were as small as people. The crystals were of many colors and had many different kinds of minerals inside. Some had gold in them and others had uranium, which was very dangerous.
David was beginning to do work on the giant communications array; they were hoping to find out what happened to the explorers that had left for the Andromeda Galaxy. The Andromeda Galaxy was much like the Milky Way; a war fired up as soon as Roger found the colonists.
Life was so good on the moonbase that few people were willing to take such a long trip. David's mother, Mary, and her husband Jason, were exploring the galaxy and having a great time. The moonbase had androids to help with hard work, and there were severe hardships, but no diseases or sickness. The older people could remember the hardships of the Great War and the 20 years of suffering on the planet Titan. Spider Corps engaged the Dragons on Planet X for the last time. Rebuilding Earth would be a big job.

Chapter 1. Exploring Earth
They were building a great family. Many people were content with what they had and a movement of isolationists among the people was gaining momentum. One of the Council members named John, who had a very large extended family, was promoting this. He wanted to stop ships from going and coming from Moonbase Omega. When the ships built a wormhole to travel great distances, it left an imprint on the fabric of space that could be detected many hundreds of lightyears away. The fabric of space was composed of all types of energy: light, gravity, electricity, dark matter and the thoughts of God.
This isolationism concerned Mary and David; they wanted to keep the colony growing. There were many wonderful sites in the Milky Way Galaxy, millions of stars and planets waiting to be explored. So, David began sending out ships to look for earthlike planets. He would send out ships in grids to map every star in the galaxy. There were millions of stars in the galaxy.
Roger came up with a plan to excite the people by looking for earthlike planets and new types of energy that could be used to power ships. Dick Johnson, the engineer and one of the original seven colonists was very excited to look for new elements and new power sources.
Blade and Susan decided to go to the other side of the galaxy to look at our old home, Earth. Even John liked that idea, but insisted that if they found any of the old aliens, that they would have to go into hiding. The Seven Paladins did not agree with the idea of hiding from anything. Roger proclaimed that if it wasn’t for their brave exploring, they would still be on Titan facing a slow death. The Seven held a lot of respect from people of the base.
Blade and Susan decided to go over the top of the Milky Way Galaxy, which is shaped much like a pie plate. This would cut the travel time in half, but would still take two weeks. They were excited and hoped that Earth was not too bad off; after all it had twenty-six years to heal and settle the nuclear cloud from the Great War. Susan was very excited; she believed that Earth would be completely healed. However, Blade was very skeptical. He thought it would take many more years to become habitable. Many people’s lives would be changed dramatically if they found Earth habitable. David had given them the battleship Defender and Blade planned to give it a real workout. The battleship Avenger was a Guardian class battleship; one of only three ships that were designed to check planets and bases. These ships carried huge power plants and had been designed to be the fastest. The White Star was a super liner that had more power and speed, but was more of an exploration vessel with travel to the Andromeda Galaxy in mind. These two ships could easily house the entire known human race.
After traveling at max speed for 40 days, they arrived in Earth’s solar system. They popped in behind the planet Mars after a good look. The
