Chapter 1

THE PARTY (IF, ONE could call it that) was the usual corporate type, lots of self important, wealthy people milling around, exchanging their friendly, empty platitudes with one another; bragging about their latest triumphs and bonuses. All in all, a bunch of very successful, back stabbing, arrogant, shallow individuals. Not at all the world I moved within — but Carissa, (who I was acting as date for the evening) did, and was even now circulating about the room, moving effortlessly within her element whilst leaving me standing next to the plant in the corner sipping my drink and wondering why I always agreed to be her escort to these events?

It was at that moment I saw a woman enter, and time literally stood still. I figured she was somewhere in her forties, sporting a very sexy blonde bob and she had the most amazing grey eyes; standing at around five feet eight inches tall, the long white Grecian dress showcased her very curvy form.

‘Beautiful isn’t she?’ Carissa suddenly appears beside me. ‘That’s Lynda Marlow-Ross, wife of our esteemed managing director.’

‘She is indeed.’ I reply scrutinising every inch of the lovely Lynda.

‘Interested are you darling?’

‘Very, tell me about her.’

‘Forget it John she’s way out of your league, many have tried. All — have failed. She’s the consummate loyal, dedicated trophy wife, one man woman; which, is more than can be said for her husband.’

I smile inwardly at the casual way Carissa discussed such things; the ultimate good time girl, who had an uncanny knack of knowing the seediest details of just about everyone. Her door — swung every way when it came to sexual adventures, so I had no reason to doubt her expert assessment of Lynda. I was intrigued though, particularly knowing that Mr Marlow-Ross was a very naughty boy, both figuratively and, as Carissa informed me a little later, literally.

‘Oh yes,’ she coos, then whispers in my ear, ‘Ralph — I mean, Mr. Marlow-Ross just loves to play the naughty school boy, and as his school mistress, well, let’s just say, I ensure he is suitably punished.’

I almost choke on my champagne much to Carissa’s amusement. I never failed to be amazed how she remained so cool about it such things.

‘So, do you want to try your luck with her?’ Carissa asks, then nods towards Lynda.

‘Yes, I do indeed.’ I reply as an idea began to form in my mind. 

‘Oh, you’ve got absolutely no chance with barb wire knickers John, none at all.’

Carissa’s eyes lock with mine as she takes a sip from her champagne glass, I feel a swelling begin between my legs, crazy that such a simple act is so intensely erotic to me. ‘Is that a challenge Carissa?’ I say forcing myself
