About the Stories in this Book

All of the stories and people in this book are real. The names of clients have been changed and some identifying details altered to protect the privacy of the people we’ve had the privilege of working with.

In some cases, the story is told in first person by a certified Guide with The Modern Mystery School who is telling their own story. In the remaining cases, the stories are told in third person by the practitioner. For example, when it says, the client came to me - the me is the practitioner – either me or one of the contributors.

Hello. My name is Carla Weis. I am a daughter, sister, mother, doctor and grandmother. I am also a Practitioner, Teacher and Guide in the Modern Mystery School.

It is such an honor for me to greet you here at the entrance to a world of magick! You are about to get a very intimate glimpse into the lives of people who have found their way out of various life struggles and into lives filled with recovery, hope, fulfillment, and joy!

That may sound like a familiar tagline these days, but there is a huge difference here. The path these people took on their healing journey was that of the Modern Mystery School, which holds the ancient lineage of King Salomon and is one of 7 mystery schools on the planet today. This school has existed for thousands of years. It’s the school of Aristotle and Plato, Leonardo DaVinci, Joan of Arc, Shakespeare, Nikola Tesla, Carl Jung, David Bowie and Carlos Santana as well as many others – including the people in this book! The reality is that for most of humanity’s existence on this planet, these tools and ancient wisdom teachings used for supporting the evolution of humanity were not available to the average person. Today, they are. And that’s because in 1997, a man by the name of Gudni Gudnason, an Ipsissimus and lineage key holder, founded the Modern Mystery School. Before then, all of this existed behind the curtain. Remember the famous line from The Wizard of Oz? The voice said, Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain. Well, it’s time to pay attention!

I was moved to tears so many times as I read the stories in this book. My tears flowed from a heart that was filled with compassion and gratitude for the ability of these people to transform themselves and their lives. And, for the fact that this kind of transformation is possible! These people chose to use the tools of a tried-and-true path of progression that no worldly system can offer. That’s right. I said no worldly system. Because we are all in this world, but we are not of it. And neither is this path. These people overcame their challenges using ancient tools, God-given tools, that exist for us to grow and move forward in life, to improve and evolve, to find our way and indeed to master the maze of life. This is what real magick is. The k stands for keys because real magick holds keys, keys for life. The Modern Mystery School is a real magick school!
