Crochet You! - Nathalie Amiel
Making your doll
In this book you will find no colour suggestions at all. This is because you should feel free to use any colours you like for skin, hair, clothes and accessories. Make it your own, make it YOU!
Basic doll
Materials
2mm (US B/1) crochet hook
Approximately 60g (21/8oz) of Scheepjes Catona, or similar 4-ply (fingering weight) yarn, in your choice of skin tone
Removable stitch markers or scrap yarn
A wire frame prepared using the template included (see Templates), using 1.2mm wire and jewellery pliers to shape the wire
Extras as needed for your doll from Other Tools and Materials
For any prosthesis, feeding/breathing tubes, make sure you plan the accessories in advance so you don’t forget to insert magnets into your doll's cheek/neck/amputated limbs/tummy while stuffing.
