Dr. Willie James Greer Kimmons
Dr. Willie J. Greer Kimmons was born in Hernando, Mississippi and grew up in Memphis, TN. where he graduated from Frederick Douglass High School. He resides in Daytona Beach, FL. Dr. Kimmons is a lifelong member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, October 10, 1964. Received his BS degree from Lincoln Univ.in MO, MS and PhD degrees from Northern Ill. Univ., DeKalb, Ill. He received his PhD at the age of 28. He has given more than 500 presentations and lectures. He is a nationally recognized consultant, speaker, seminar leader, and author of six books. His 5th book, A Parenting Guidebook, sold more than 400,000 copies. The guidebook is a useful tool for parents, grandparents, teachers, schools, churches and community to help save our children and save our schools. The Foreword for his parenting guidebook was written by Dr. Greer Kimmons’ godmother, the Honorable Shirley Chisholm, first African American female elected to the U.S. Congress, 1968 and first female to seek the office of the Presidency of the U.S. in 1972. He is a former public-school teacher, college professor, college dean, vice president, president and chancellor.
