AUTHOR'S NOTE

I am so happy you decided to join me on the continuing journey of researching and living with EMFs. Getting this project off the ground was as monumental as the impact of the Geologic, Atmospheric, Technologic, and Esoteric electromagnetic frequencies that color my life.

From the beginning I had an image of a Medieval castle with separate rooms in which visitors would find pieces of the EMF Sensitivity puzzle. I envisioned the experience as something like a visit to a theme park - only more educational and with longer-lasting and more therapeutic consequences. At the same time, by the nature of the Esoteric EMFs I knew there was a bit of a thrill involved. Alas, it was not meant to be.

At least not on my website.

Despite numerous tools to help bring this vision to life, the project, were I to continue that path, would be unmanageable. It would also be cumbersome for readers and visitors which was the last thing I wanted.

At the same time, I couldn't bring myself to just write another nonfiction book.

The mere thought sapped me of joy and energy.

Rescoping the project - appropriate as my vision outgrew reality - did not solve the issue.

So long as it was on the web, that is.

After wrestling with the conflict for months I came up with the solution: A handbook of tools and strategies for dealing with sensitivity to and awareness of the Pillars of EMF Sensitivity. Eager to be finished I managed to write a number of chapters that were in line with the castle theme.

In spite of best efforts, I hit a wall.

Esoteric EMFs

This highly personal and generally private part of my life presented a number of dilemmas in terms of how and what information to share.

Simply put some of it is just too fantastical to grasp. And it's happening to me!

After months of conflict, I came to the conclusion the best way to move forward was to split the handbook into 2 volumes.

Volume 1 will deal with Geologic, Atmospheric, and Technologic EMFs.

Volume 2 will deal with Esoteric EMFs.

It became clear, however, as I was finishing Volume 2 that the information was too critical to be left out of the original work. I needed to include it.

In examining this 4th Pillar of EMF Sensitivity, I continue to share Tools and Strategies. I have elected however, to be more circumspect about sharing the experiences that drove the need for solutions. The reason is simple. I do not want to detract from the purpose of this book which is to provide Tools and Strategies for dealing with the 4 Pillars of EMF Sensitivity.

INTRODUCTION

They say when one door closes another opens. Such is life with EMF Sensitivity.

Before I comment further on such irony, I'd like to take a moment to set expectations. Unlike Riding the Waves: Diagnosing, Treating, and Living with EMF Sensitivity, Under Siege: Tools and Strategies for Dealing with the Pillars of EMF Sensitivity does not focus exclusively on the mystery of physical intolerance to electromagnetic frequencies associated with technology. Rather it delves broadly and in some cases more deeply into non-tech EMFs; frequencies that can be every bit as debilitating as those associated with technology.

And telecommunications technology in particular.

In this work I highlight the impact of Geologic, Atmospheric, and Esoteric EMFs on human health and well-being, including updated information on the impact of Technologic EMFs as well.

Ah, the irony.

It was as I was freeing myself - after years of hard work - from debilitating symptoms associated with sensitivity to technologic EMFs that I found myself inundated by the other Pillars of EMF Sensitivity.

It is that last that is perhaps the most ironic as - even as they helped me better understand EMF Sensitivity, including and especially my personal experiences - they - by their very nature as EMFs - began to take a toll on my health and well-being.

Needing a break from what I came to call Psi Avalanche in order to continue my recovery efforts I took stock of where I was bleeding energy and decided to do a serious life recalibration. At the top of the list? Ironically? My work with EMF Sensitivity.
