About this ebook

Many Bullets
Neal Chadwick

The size of this book corresponds to 37 paperback pages.

My killer came in all of a sudden. I hadn't even heard him come through the door. Steps. I waited.

I saw his silhouette. The big, bold nose - as straight and long as a gun barrel.

I saw the determination in the lines of his face. I was familiar with that expression. It was the absolute will to kill. The man held an automatic pistol in his hand. With a silencer - so it wouldn't make that much noise when he killed me. Because that's what he was going to do.

Because that's what he was going to do.

    Kill me.

I couldn't imagine any other reason to break into my apartment.

I'm pretty good with guns. But I still couldn't see the exact make. At the latest, when he fired a shot with it, that would change. But then maybe it was too late for me.

The man came a little closer. I hadn't noticed how he had gotten into my apartment. What do you mean? I was asleep.

I stayed calm. I held the unlocked gun in my right hand.

When he saw me, he was more surprised than I was. Mostly because he got a couple of bullets in the stomach. I didn't give him a chance to pull the trigger once. Again and again I pulled the trigger. His body twitched. The face looked like a question mark become flesh, while his
