    Meet Lola!

¡Hola, I’m Lola! I live in Texas with my family—Mama, Dad, and my baby sister, Mariana. The rest of my family, including my grandparents, live in Guatemala. That’s where my parents are from. I know lots of interesting facts about the country.

    Facts About Guatemala

Guatemala is in Central America. It is about the size of the state of Tennessee.

Guatemala has 37 volcanoes, but only three are active—that means they’re erupting. The other 34 are asleep.

The official language in Guatemala is Spanish.

    Facts About Me

    I’m learning Spanish.

I love history. I want to be an archaeologist when I grow up.

    I adore my family.

    I don’t like change.

I hate Mondays and onions, not to mention waking up early. Yuck!
