This book contains encouraging verses and phrases where you will find strength in God not to give up faith in difficult times.

God speaks in many ways, and even without using words: "There is no language, nor are there words, and no sound is heard from them; yet his voice is heard throughout the whole earth, and his words to the ends of the world." (Ps 19:3,4). Because of his immense love, God has revealed himself to mankind and to each one of us specifically, in various ways and repeatedly.

To us, his children, the Lord speaks through the prophetic word, through his holy Scriptures, through his blessed Son, and through his Spirit who dwells in us. If you are not a child of God, you need to surrender your life to Jesus so that God will speak to you as in the biblical verses highlighted here.

The Bible is a reference because it is inspired by God, and in it we have base, security, standard, source of knowledge and wisdom; it is invariable, infallible and complete. Through it we know who God is and what he wants from us: that we be perfect and perfectly qualified for every good work! Read them carefully and reflect on what God has prepared for your life.

1. Don't be afraid, I am with you

God is not indifferent to what you have been through. He tells you not to fear and to trust Him above everything else. Believe in spite of the circumstances. The Lord Himself strengthens and sustains you day by day.

Do not be afraid, for I am with you; do not be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; with my victorious right hand I will uphold you.
