About this ebook
"Pygmalion" is a play by George Bernard Shaw, inspired by the Greek mythological figure it was named after. Professor Henry Higgins, aka Pygmalion, is a linguistic expert. He takes on a bet that he can transform an awkward cockney flower seller into a refined young lady. He plans to do that simply by polishing her manners and changing how she speaks. In convincing society that his creation is a mysterious royal figure, the Professor falls in love with her.
