Nikki and Emma dumped the Bugatti off a dirt road, the windows busted, the seats covered in blood.

Nikki’s nerves still tingled with the thrill of castrating the three pigs from earlier: Emma’s abusive ex, a nasty trick Nikki had the pleasure of dealing with as a dominatrix, and some asshole named Chad they’d run into at a bar. That old desire to cut and dissect had come roaring back like a wild animal, reminding her of those long days in medical school.

Who knew if they lived or not?

Who cared? Certainly not Nikki, and Emma sure as hell didn’t seem to.

What now? Emma asked. Her eyes no longer glimmered with that curious innocence Nikki had seen when they first met. They were now hungry with a desire to learn.

We’ll have to find a beater car for cash and split, Nikki said. Hope you didn’t have anything of value you needed at your place.

Nikki retrieved the cash she’d swiped from the three losers she’d left for dead at the park and waved it around. It was plenty to get a car, get settled, and get Emma what she needed.
