Don E. Peavy, Sr. is the former editor of a poetry magazine and a former editor of an award-winning newspaper. He has had a book published through a vanity press and has self-published three books. He has had two books published through traditional publishing companies, one of which became an ethics textbook, so he is in no way new to the writing business. Peavy taught religious studies, philosophy, ethics, and administration of justice at the University of Phoenix. He practiced law in Fort Worth, Texas, before graduating from Brite Divinity School and pursuing a Ph.D. at Claremont Graduate University. Peavy served as pastor of McCarty Memorial Christian Church in Los Angeles and is now a retired minister of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). He is a prolific writer and is well versed in many genres of writing.
