About this ebook

The Anthropologist at Large is the third short story of the collection "John Thorndyke's Cases" by R. Austin Freeman. The series of novels and short stories about the medico-legal forensic investigator Dr. Thorndyke paired the popularity of Arthur Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes. They were considered the most noticeable contribution to detective fiction—a great read for the admirers of the Victorian-era charm and classic detective fans.
