Devastated by a significant loss, Molly James leaves the frenzied city life and seeks serenity in an out-of-the-way location on the northern Eastern Shore of Maryland. A registered nurse, Molly lands a staff position in the Memory-Challenged Ward of a small, secluded nursing home. At the outset, she follows the lead of her coworkers by concentrating on making her patients comfortable until the inevitable occurs.
