Fate just walked into her life and he’s tall, hunky, & bear.
Drake’s bear is restless. Men in his clan who don’t find their mate by their early thirties tend to go insane, and Drake fears he is headed in that direction. However, an accident on a lonely, snow covered, mountain road could ultimately lead to his salvation.

Alone at last,
he growled, his eyes raking up and down her body as if he was undressing her in his mind.
Not for long,
she muttered.
She attempted to duck under his massive arm, which stretched across to where his palm was placed flat against the wall. With ease, he brought his arm down and encircled her body, smashing her against him.
Let me go!
He ignored her and bent his head toward hers to inhale deeply.
You smell good enough to eat.
She could hear the leer in his voice and understood the hidden meaning of his words.
In your dreams,
she snarled.
Little lady, it’s going to happen outside of my dreams.
Molly pushed against him, straining to get free, but she was no match for his brute strength.
No, it won’t.
The voice that spoke from behind them rolled out so low and menacing that Molly almost didn't recognize it as Drake’s.
Let her go, Sloan.
Molly held her breath when she felt Sloan’s bulging muscles tense beneath her.
Maybe I don’t want to.
Sloan.
The name drawled out in a threatening growl.
I’ve got as much right to her as you do.
What in the world was Sloan thinking? Ever since she’d met him, he’d come across as the caveman type. He acted like he could just hit a woman over the head and drag her home in order to make her his. Didn’t he realize the world hadn’t worked that way for thousands of years?
No one has a right to me. I’m not property that can just be claimed. I choose who I’m with.
That’s not how it works here.
What in the hell was he talking about?
Yes, it is Sloan. You knew the rules when you decided to stay after Jacob was gone. Let her go.
Molly recognized Harrison’s voice, even though she couldn’t see him past Sloan’s massive chest.
Rules? What rules?
It was true that he was their boss at work, and they were in his home, but would Sloan listen to the younger man? And who was Jacob?
This isn’t over, little lady,
he murmured in her hair.
He dropped his arm to his side, and Molly stepped back, grateful to be no longer pressed against the brute. Harrison and Drake moved out of the hallway in order to allow Sloan to pass.
Are you okay?
Drake asked once Sloan had lumbered away.
Yes, I’m fine.
Did he hurt you?
Molly shook her head.

Molly
Molly Thurston screamed and clutched the steering wheel, her fingers wrapped so tightly around it that they blanched white. Her little coupe, which was ill suited for the snow-covered roads of Cold Creek Mountain, slid sideways. She screamed again as the wheel spun sharply to the right, jerking through her hands so violently that she felt something in her wrist give way.
Tears sprang into her bright, green eyes as white, hot pain seared through her wrist. She struggled to regain control of the spinning wheel with one hand, but it was no use. Her car skidded across the road and threw Molly against the door when it bumped over the shoulder and came to a shuddering stop in the ditch. The engine stuttered and then died.
Shit!
Molly drew in a shaky breath and took stock of her situation. Her shoulder and head ached from the sudden and hard impact with the door and window. She gingerly rotated her shoulder. Despite a slight twinge, it seemed okay.
She started to reach up to inspect the injury on her head where it hit the window and screamed when blinding pain sliced through her injured wrist.
Oh fuck,
she groaned.
Molly dared to look down at her wrist and sighed in relief when she saw only slight swelling. The pain had been so intense; she had half expected to see bones protruding through the skin.
Doesn’t mean it isn’t broken,
she muttered.
Using her uninjured hand, she felt around the sore part of her head. Her fingers encountered something wet and sticky, and her heart lurched in her chest. She flipped the visor down in front of her, so she could look in the mirror attached to the back of it.
A thin trail of blood snaked down the side of her face. Upon closer inspection using her fingers and the mirror, she discovered a knot the size of an egg on the side of her head. She’d found the source of the blood. She lifted the lid to the covered part of the console and fumbled through the junk that had accumulated there until she found a tissue, which she wadded up and pressed against the bleeding knot.
She winced at the
