During the period of our enforced exile during the COVID lockdown, when we were unable to meet, I decided to write my granddaughter a story and to record it so that ‘grandma’ was never too far away. This is a story that she can absolutely relate to as it contains many of the things she liked at the time, and speaks to her wonderful sense of fun and adventure and her love of nature and animals. It was intended as her birthday present. During the lockdown period, Jasmine was joined by a baby sister, another bundle of fun and curiosity. This is my first attempt at storytelling, and of being published.
