DIVINE LIGHT
ACT 1: The sleeping dawn
There are five great continents within our world, all but one, is inhabited by four different races. The first to the north in the country of Valise are the wizards who are known as Quincies. The second, in the south country, Bolivar are, the Ape-like humans called the Gildans. The third are humans who are known as Empthers, they live in the west, in the country of Arcadia and the fourth to the east in the country of Elias are the Elfens descendants of Elves.
The fifth country known to all as Eprian is dead in the center, it is unimaginably beautiful, and some have even gone on to say that’s it’s the most stunning country in the whole world until its land was covered in blood and death.
It has now been two years since the war between the four great countries started. They all seek to claim the prize of gaining the fifth country, Eprian, as it is rumored that Eprian has an abundance of magical stones known as Epeus stones. The Humans seek it and use it as a power source to sustain their cities and life style, whilst the Gildans fight not to gain the lands rich with Epeus stones but to further their ambitions of eradicating all Humans.
The Quincies hated by the Elfen Elders for their way of using magic, intend on gaining the Epeus stones to prolong their life span because of their way of conjuring magic.
The Fire Elder king of all Elfens, pays no attention to these thoughts, his face is cold and heatless as his white hair glittered under the sunlight, with his crown on his head and his body fully armored. The Fire Elder rides his marvelous white horse with his army to his back. The sounds of battle horns could be heard within the furthermost corners of the Elfen fire realm whilst hundreds of valiant Elfen warriors matched throughout the streets in the beautiful city of Elias, which is one of the four great realms ruled by an Elfen Elder.
The city of Elias is ruled by the Fire Elder who desire is to unite the four great realms, as it once was in the past. He has already attained the Aqua realm and the Earth realm and all he is missing is the wind realm. The one piece of the missing puzzle but he could not get it until he had no choice but to give into the Wind Elder’s demand that their children be wed.
For the first time in his life, the Fire Elder would do something he had never done before. The thought of speaking to her infuriated him and though he had ordered the Elfen Queen to speak to her, she wanted to hear it from him. The Elfen Elder had never acknowledged her but to win this war he had to if not he knew it would be the end of what he’d been trying to accomplish for all these years. Riding his magnificent horse, the Elfen Elder thinks if he chose the right words when he spoke to her for now closer than ever, his dream could finally become a reality.
Within the bravura bedroom of the Elfen Princess, her mother the Elfen Queen entered. She looked across the room to the dressing table which held a large mirror and saw the Princess was not sitting there. She enters further into the room closing the white nicely designed door behind her. She looks to her left and sees her daughter sitting by the furnace while her hand was playing with a magical phoenix-like flame.
Elisha...
the Queen says softly
Mother...
she replied in a daunting tone whilst the flame ceased from her hand.
I know he’s asked the impossible of you?
the Queen utters
Princess Elisha stands up and walks over to her dressing table. Angry yet sad at what her none nurturing father asked of her.
After all this time he expects me to forget all he has done and do what he says
Elisha...
No mother...
Elisha interrupts, her eyes saddened knowing her father has no right to even be called her father let alone ask of her what she does not want to do.
She stares at her mother’s amazingly beautiful face as it two was saddened by her king’s request. But yet she gave away a slight smile to her daughter.
Elisha... my daughter, sometimes we must do the one thing we hate to do so, that others may benefit. A friend once told me that in life we must accept our responsibilities.
Mother...
Yes dear
the Queen replies as she passes her hand over Elisha’s gorgeous long blonde hair.
You have the gift of foresight, if I accept my responsibility what would be the outcome?
My dear... you have already accepted your responsibility, it is a destiny that has already been written and as for the outcome, in time, time will reveal.
ACT 2: The Three Imperial Knights
On the continent of the Empthers, in the country of Arcadia lived the widely hated Empthers (humans), who are so hated or rather despised by the Ape-like men, the Gildans that they were called Maggots. Long have the Empthers been at war with the Gildans and now the Quincies and the Elfens have also join the battle. A fatal four way, it would seem that the twin gods were playing with them to see who could claim the grand prize of the most prosperous land on the continent which bared an abundance of what the Empthers needed more than anything, the Epeus stones.
Unlike the Elfens which used magic that came from nature its self or the Gildans who need not magic but their supernatural strength and power. Or the Quincies who used their life force to conjure magic. The Empthers relied on the magical stones which possessed magical powers equivalent to that of a Quincies and an Elfens magic spells.
All throughout the lands many assorted types and shapes of these enchanted stones are used to grant humans the abilities to conjure many different types of magic to their weapons and armor and most importantly serve as their power source to sustain the reactors, generators, cars, homes and all other types of machinery. But as fate would have it, an unkindly event happened when the main source of mining the Epeus stones, the diamond cravens had a terrible accident taking the lives of thousands of people whilst many more were left injured.
With the reserve of Epeus stones declining, sections of the Arcadians cities began to shut down and so the Empther King sent his army to conquer the uninhabited lands of Eprian. No race has ever dared to conquer Eprian a great magical spell was cast over it which caused mysterious things to happen, some believe that is why its grass lands, mountains, fields, waterfalls are beyond beautiful yet there was also tales of a place within Eprian, many speculated that it’s a swamp while others said it’s a dark forest known to have taken travelers whom have never been seen or heard from again.
The King cared little for such rumors, for gaining the Eprian Land and an abundance of Epeus stones would be all he needed to attain absolute power no matter if he had to do the unthinkable, just to eradicate his enemies.
It’s been almost three years since the war began and just when the King thought he would win the war an army of one of his enemy would interfere. First it was those rotten Gildans who only strived to humiliate and crush the Empthers, these Ape-like beasts were strong and fierce, when in battle swords and spears without the magical powers of the Epeus stones would break off their furry rock hard body, not even minor Elfen spells had any effect on them, underestimating these violent brutes meant death in the worst way possible.
The second to arrive and do battle for the Eprian land were the Quincies, Wizards of great magic, using their own life’s energy to cast spells of immense power. A symbol of their power was shown when they summoned the powerful Yakel (Great God-like creature) called Borthel, the wild bull. This beast horns were as long as a man’s arm, its body was huge as an elephant, its eyes were as red as blood whilst its nose puffed fire. The Borthel killed warriors in the thousands.
Finally, the Elfens arrived, as though they were watching everything in the distance, waiting for the right time to strike, waiting for the moment when all sides were at their weakest. Oh, how the Empthers hated the Elfens who believed themselves, to be higher than any beings in existence. It had seemed timing was everything yet, knowing their magic, swords and arrows where not strong enough to defeat most Gildans, Quincies and Empthers, stronger Elfens emerged. The Elite and Alphas, strongest of the Elfen warriors clashed with their enemies breaking their shields and ripping away the beast’s flesh.
The Quincies, thinking they were supreme also tasted the Alphas wrath, when, within minutes the Elfens Alphas summoned their mighty Yakel, the lightning god, Ramuh whom unleashed Thunderous bolts of lightning which struck the battle field, devastating everything in its path. The Empther King had enough, if his enemies were bringing out their most forceful warriors then he would have to do the same, he would have to show and prove to his enemies that the Empthers are not dogs but are dragons that fear no one. It was time to unleash hell...
Arcadias most elite, proud, courageous and fearless, trained by the Dragon Knight himself, were three warriors that triumphed in every battle. Many feared them, while only a selected few can become them. They were known as the Imperial Knights which commanded the Legion army.
Large golden doors open as three Imperial knights walk through them, their bodies were covered in blue-ish armor with their helmet in one hand or the other whilst they walked into the king’s chambers then kneeled before him while he sat on his throne.
The king quickly stands in a fit of rage I summoned you, hours ago. I should have you all whipped for such disobedience...
Sorry my lord.
said one knight.
The King gazed at the knights as they kneeled before him. You all may rise.
Yes, my lord.
they all say together.
As you all, are aware the Elfens have joined the war making it even more difficult for us to gain the upper hand in achieving victory.
One knight speaks out. I’ve gotten word that the Elfen Alphas are on the battle field.
Yes, and that is why I’ve summoned you three, my Imperial Knights. The time has come for you three to lead the legions into battle and claim our victory.
We do as our king commands, and shall leave at once.
Spoken like the true prince you are first of the Imperial Knights. Prince Adrian, strong and fierce.
the King turn his head to the other Imperial Knight. And then there’s Rubella...
Please. Your majesty, call me Rose.
the female knight interjects.
Very well, second Imperial Knight Rose, beautiful as you are cunning.
Thank you... my lord
she whispers
Urian, proud and fearless you’re the third of the Imperial Knights, and keeper of the Dragon Knight’s most valuable weapon of which he has won many battles. Remind me of its name.
The WolfsRayne, My lord
Indeed, its powers will serve us well as it has done before, at dawn ride out and show no mercy to our enemies
My lord, I think it is best if Prince Adrian stayed here and guard the castle walls
Anger filled the king’s eyes as he yelled out Urian, I don’t recall giving you permission to speak and as for the prince, he knows what’s in his and the people of Arcadia’s best interest.
Please forgive him my lord, Urian is just looking out for my wellbeing.
the prince utters
Very well... I’ll let this query pass this time, but even if you’re one of the Imperial knights that does not mean you can’t be punished.
Yes, my lord.
Urian utters.
As you all go into battle remember this, you are our last hope, all the skills, power and knowledge that you three have attained must be used to gain glory on the battle field. Fight for the legacy of your teacher the dragon knight, fight for your country Arcadia, fight for your people the Empthers and most of all fight for your king.
Yes, your majesty.
together the three knights say.
You all may take your leave.
Yes, my lord.
they quickly say as they all leave the kings chambers.
My lord...
a woman voice quickly says as she magically appears from thin air.
Utica... so you’ve been here all this time?
Yes, my lord
she replies.
And I take it you heard everything?
Yes, it appears that a certain knight is insisting that the prince reclaim what’s rightfully his. We must act now before our prince has a change of heart.
Yes indeed...
The king utters as he turns and looks at the portrait of the last king, his wife the queen and their son the true heir to the throne.

ACT 3: The Last Sunset
With only few hours before Urian goes into what would be the biggest battle of his life, he went to the one place he could relax and clear his thoughts. He wanted to remember why he fights but that was not the only reason why Urian came to the crimson balcony, though it has the most uniquely beautiful view of when the sun sets which Rose loved to see with Prince Adrian around of course.
She’s had a crush on him ever since she saw him with that thought of childhood memories in his mind Urian nodded his head to clear his mind of that image. He looked over after hearing the sounds of kids playing with their parents near the fountain which had the most unique little flying fish like creature that jumped in and out of the water teasing the kids, one even spat water out whilst the kids giggled.
Yes, it was all coming back to him, the memories of his child-hood visits to the fountain with his father, a traveler he was. Going from one continent to the other, Urian places his hand on the white angel-like pendant on his chest that he got from his father which was the last thing he too gave him, what did he say again Urian thought... he smiled as he finally remembered.
To become an Emp (Man) You must always accept your responsibilities
And something else about the pendant being magical and how it would guide him to his inner light, a thought Urian never paid any attention to.
Urian... I knew I’d find you here and I also brought you, you’re WolfsRyane
says Prince Adrian as he walks over to Urian and hands him, his huge sword with a dragon crest engraved in the center.
Thanks, so I take it the last of the Epeus Dragon stone is forged into it?
Yes, it is... I still don’t get why the dragon knight gave you his sword.
Beats me but one thing is for sure there is something about this sword that just connects with me when I’m in battle.
Urian and Prince Adrian gazed at the Dragon Knights WolfsRayne and remembers the dragon knight and his many battles that he’d won using this mighty blade. It was said that no normal man could wield this sword not even a mighty Gildans could willed it.
Warriors were struck with fear in their hearts by just the sound of its howl when it’s being swung. This vast and broad sword was legendary, its power was immense and could only be rivaled with another of equal power but why would the dragon knight give Urian, his student, his most prized procession.
Prince Adrian
