Mandate

God once said to me, Go! I’m sending you like I sent Moses, my prophet, to liberate my people from all oppressions of the devil through the preaching and teaching of the Word of Faith. Raise the foundations of many generations, prophesy over them and school them into supernatural knowledge, wisdom, and exploits; impart into them my power and wisdom; release them into their glorious and unparalleled destinies.

Introduction

One day, in the year 2008, I was invited to minister the Word of God at a huge Christian gathering here in Australia. Many people attended the meeting that night—they came to hear God’s Word. There were about three hundred people. Now, among those who came were the football players from the Sydney Roosters. The Sydney Roosters is an Australian professional Rugby League Football Club based in the Eastern Suburbs (Sydney). The club competes in the National Rugby League (NRL) competition and is one of the oldest and most successful.

I started my preaching around 6:30 pm and finished at about 9:45 pm. My sermon was titled, Keys to Preserving Your Destiny. Then, a few years later, I was moved and inspired to write a book titled Keys to Preserving Your Destiny. However, I got to name this book Nine Pillars of Success, the Gateway to a Glorious Destiny. Why? This is because it is a continuation of the previous title Keys to Preserving Your Destiny. Then, during that meeting, I asked people to come forward for prayer, but no one came forward! However, I repeated the offer for the third time, and one guy dressed in a blue shirt came over, and stood afar—about two metres—away from me!

Can you imagine? Out of the entire team, only one person responded. Now, as soon as I asked the Holy Spirit to touch his life, he fell under the power of God without me touching him. When everyone saw what had happened, they rushed to the altar for prayer. It took me literally two hours to pray for all those muscular-bodied guys, and the power of God was sending them uncontrollably to the floor with such power! Many people that I have prayed for in my meetings fall backwards, but these men were falling forward.

Friends, all that I was doing in that meeting was commanding destinies out of people as I laid hands on them. Then, after a few weeks, I received huge praise reports of what God had done for them. That was fulfilling destiny in a grand style. Hence, I was encouraged, motivated, and inspired to write this book, Nine Pillars of Success: The Gateway to a Glorious Destiny.

My prayer is that this book will bring supernatural transformation and empowerment into your life. So much that your life and destiny will become a global phenomenon in Christ Jesus!! Your life won’t be a liability but an asset to the glory of God!!

Chapter 1

Understanding Destiny

Then the word of the Lord came to me, saying: Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations. Then said I: "Ah, Lord God! Behold, I cannot speak, for I am a youth."

—Jeremiah 1:4-6

Understanding Destiny

What you have to understand is that your destiny does not start here on earth! It started even before you were born into this world. You are not an accident of birth! Your destiny and life are a well pre-arranged agenda of God. That is why you don’t have to create your own destiny, but all you have to do is discover or locate the details of your destiny or divine purpose.

In Jeremiah, chapter 1:5, the prophet is specifically told:

Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations.

So, that tells me you already existed in the mind of God, even before you were conceived in your mother’s womb. Hence, you don’t pray to God to give you a destiny, but that God will show you the details of your destiny on earth as it pertains to His Kingdom. We call that—destiny discovery and allocation! Mind you, everyone has a destiny, but it is not every destiny that will be successful! Some destinies will not find fulfilment until Christ Jesus comes back. I believe and trust God that yours will find fulfilment in Christ Jesus as you lay hold of divine insights in this book.

Friends, it is not pride to say that there are so many reasons certain destines can’t find fulfillment today. It does not matter which country you live in; Europe, Asia, Australia, America or Africa. What I know is that every God-ordained destiny will encounter opposition. For example, I have a prophetic agenda in this world, hence I have suffered so much opposition in my life.

Thus, it shouldn’t take you by surprise that your life or destiny is being opposed. The destinies of many people today have experienced unbearable challenges because of divine purpose. God’s purpose in your life will attract opposition. However, that should not stop or discourage you. All you have to do is stay strong, and God will give you unusual grace to pursue, overtake, and recover your glorious destiny! The apostle Paul, God’s general and a giant of faith, full of power and the Holy Ghost, once said in 1 Corinthian 16:8-10:

But I will tarry in Ephesus until Pentecost. For a great and effective door has opened to me, and there are many adversaries. And if Timothy comes, see that he may be with you without fear; for he does the work of the Lord, as I also do.

Your life or destiny will always be challenged or opposed. However, it takes destiny discovery and clarity for you to overcome challenges of destiny. Not only that, destiny discovery and clarity will also enhance you to scale greater heights of success in life. Look, it does not matter how big or descriptive your destiny is. If you are doing nothing about it, it won’t go anywhere! Yes, with destiny fulfillment, there is always something to do. Hence, what you don’t pursue, you can’t possess!

One time, Jesus and His disciples were invited to a wedding in Cana of Galilee. The mother of Jesus was equally at the wedding. Now, amid the wedding celebrations, they ran out of wine! It was such a huge destiny setback—an enormous distraction! There was no way out of that dilemma—and shame was vigorously stirring up the place. No one lifted his head to fix or calm the situation. Surely, someone’s destiny was at stake! Then what next?

John 2:5

His mother said to the servants, "Whatever He says to you, do it."

Mind you, when wine ran out at the wedding, shame was stirring all over the place. Humiliation was at its best to the master of the ceremony. That was exactly destiny disruption! However, Jesus stepped in and stopped the shame by performing that one first miracle of His ministry. Destiny, just like prophecy, is not self-fulfilling!
