The story revolves around Swetha a modern-day girl, whose marriage got fixed. The series of events that happens after her marriage got fixed, resembles the events of her Monther, fondly called Swethama by her neighbors, alais Ammu. As Ammu finds the sequence of repetitive events keeps on happening between her life and her Daughters life, stricken with Panic, to stop the events from happening further.
The story tells about the culture and traditions followed in the South Indian Marriages, the importance of every such tradition followed for more than 2000 years, Talks about how the modern-day civilization changed the hard traditional practices, to ease the burden of the ppl, etc.
The Story forms an interesting plot across generations and how it unfolds to the series of events.
I hope you will enjoy the story.

Thank you, Mom, Dad, Wife, and the family.

A big thanks to my friend Harun Kumar, for his constant motivation in writing the book, for his elephantine patience in listening to my boredom discussion.

    The Beginning...

In another few minutes, the groom's side will arrive. They have reached the nearest bus stop to my house. Life is going to change a lot for my daughter, isn't it? Yes. Because it is the way for all women who are born in India. There are two lives for a woman. One before and one after.

The yellow knot is the modern Lakshman Rekha which changes the lives of poor Indian girls from one side to another. No one predicts it perfectly.

There may be a soothing breeze, a deadly storm, a divine bliss, or a deceitful game. Whatever it is, the girl must accept it fully and live with it.

Why is it like this? Who decided the fate of the women to be like a general template of the Rajinikanth or Salman khan movie? The cunning creator? Bloody ruling men? The rude societal master?

As a mother of Swetha, a lot of my own life demons are threatening me, to appear in her life as well.

Why should it be? I will not let those demons take a ride on Swetha’s life.

Swetha, my first and only daughter, aged 23, a software professional of an illiterate (by the paper law, but am experienced and learned enough to pass in distinction in the world’s common-sense exam) mother.

Swetha, get ready, fast, change your nightdress?

Maa, I look pretty with this. This is most comfortable.

Does not matter. Dress up by the occasional guidelines. You should follow the protocol.

Who wrote this scrap? Let me tear it off.

Shut up Swetha. You are not listening to me, after your financial freedom.

Maa, why do you bring this time and again? Are you jealous of my professional life?

Why did you send me to school and college?

To make you understand this world better, Swetha.

Yeah, I am most adapted to the modern world now. I want him to accept me as I live. Not with 2 mins Makeup.

Hiss, I don't want your so-called professional party life thoughts, to show its ugly face on your personal life mom said with little anger and fear.

Maa, pls stop. I will get ready as you wish Swetha started to change her costumes fast to please her mom quicker before Anil arrives.

Anil hails from a small-scale business family. He is from Kancheepuram (ancient
