Dr. Pauline Akatsa-Hinga

Dr. Pauline Akatsa-Hinga is an author, emotional health coach, inspirational speak, and professor. Pauline began the Beauty for Ashes women’s ministry in 2016, this ministry was born out of a season of intense pain and disappointment but also the amazing grace that God bestowed upon her. And as the name suggests, it was rightly named because “God has turned those ashes into beauty.” She later rebranded this to Brokenly Flawless. Dr. Pauline’s passion to help hurting women is foundational to the vision of Brokenly Flawless. Brokenly Flawless provides women the opportunity to grow emotionally and to address unspoken pain that hinders them from living a fruitful and fulfilled life. Through the weekly sessions, women have a safe place to pull back the layers and to process their pain as they are guided through the journey to emotional health as they learn how to love themselves. Pauline’s greatest desire is to see women made whole emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. She believes that the woman holds a unique place in the home and society. When the woman is made whole and empowered, she can influence her family, her friends, and society in general.

    FOREWORD

With so much love in my heart I write this foreword to a book that spoke volumes to me. The Woman, Her Shame, and Her Redeemer.

I would like to share briefly about the amazing woman of God who is the author of this book, my dear friend Pauline. I have known pastor Pauline for about 3 years now, and when I met her, I truly thought I was standing before royalty. I mean like a real queen. The way she carried herself with dignity, love, and grace. She is a warrior and a worshipper who is not ashamed of the gospel of our Lord Jesus. That’s why it is easy to write the foreword for this book, it represents everything I have seen in her for this past 3 years.

The woman talks about a typical woman who is trying to survive in a world filled with high expectations of how we should act in public. The woman described a strong fighter that is not a quitter but goes for what she wants to live a successful life

Her Shame talks about living a life of regrets but even in that season of our lives we rise up from the ashes, to greatness. Her shame reminds us of not judging people because of what we see but to lift them up in
