    KALEIDOSCOPE

    Cock of the Walk

He comes from a land asunder

Where the Covid rules in big blunder!

Beneath veranda hair and fake tan

Lies the quintessential Stars and Stripy fake man.

He’s immune to truth and common sensing,

Has an interest in walls and wire fencing.

Who will save us from this bondage?

Might just as well eat a Vegemite sandwich!

So you’d better run, you’d better take cover.

Cockwomble sure ain’t our blood brother.

    Musings

    The muse has gone

    she left today

she warned that she would go away

    I’m now bereft

    of thought and word

which I know must surely seem absurd.

    But there it is

    in white and black –

and I wonder if she’s coming
