Tjaša Ferme is an award-winning actor, playwright, and founder of TRANSFORMA Theatre, a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to creating interactive theatrical experiences at the convergence of science, consciousness, and ritual. She created Fast Company's awarded The Female Role Model Project, blending theatre and neuroscience, and produced a sold-out inaugural Science in Theatre Festival. She was recently interviewed in Forbes Magazine for Creative Capital Formula: How Art & Science Are Driving Millennial Investment. Looking for an overlap of neuroscience and spirituality, Tjaša spearheads her platform as a theatre artist, tech creator, and urban shaman creating shows and leading workshops in New York, Mexico, and Slovenia.As an actor Ferme played principal characters in many award-winning plays, films and web-series, among them: The Upper Room (NYTimes critic's pick), Three Trembling Cities (Best of Stereable, Toronto, Brooklyn, Philly Web Fests and more), Larry Gone Demon (10 film awards), Ophelia's Flip (Cannes premiere), and Dutch Kills (Best Thriller Manhattan FF). She received artistic residencies at the cell (Cocktales-Confessions of a Nymphomaniac), Theaterlab (The Female Role Model Project-immersive, My Marlene), Residency 108 (Wild Child In The City-online performance) and Skogen in Sweden (Back to The Promised Land). Cocktales: Confessions of a Nymphomaniac was originally incubated at the cell (Nancy Manocherian, Founding Artistic Director; Kira Simring, Artistic Director) and produced in New York as part of Midtown International Theatre Festival at Dorothy Strelsin Theatre in July 2012. It was directed by Kira Simring, the dramaturg was Nancy Manocherian, the scenic designer was Bonnie Owen Zeff, the costume designer was Alexandria Perel, the original music was by Paul LaPlaca, the choreographer was Doug Barron and the light designer was Jacob Vogelman. The cast was as follows:
